I was merely stating that point to show that one can desire to change into something without actually having to fully experience the end result already. Most gender identity disorder sufferers do not undergo surgery to alter their body, and some find themselves happier merely to act/dress as the other sex.

And the term gender applies to characteristics that are either masculine or feminine, and therefore can be changed. One's sex cannot as this is one's genotype.

oh Alright I see what you were trying to say now, but at the same time, if I was not able to change into someone who is muscular, and had to stay skinny for the rest of my life, it wouldn't effect me to the point where I'd feel like I didn't belong in my body. Where as if a male who can't become a female will live the rest of his life feeling like he doesn't belong, get what I mean? Although I agree on your point of both examples being just an alteration of appearance or characteristics, I suppose my main question would be directed at understanding how one can they feel that they need to change there actual sex (genotype as you mentioned)

Transgender, homosexuality, anorexia ext....Are all mental disorders a psychological pattern or anomaly, potentially reflected in behavior, that is generally associated with distress or disability, and which is not considered part of normal development of a person's culture. The only way to get your real answer is to feel as if you were supposed to be a woman. I don't look down upon these people at all. Think about all of the "disorder" a human can have. There are thousands if not millions of different types with different variations that make them slightly different than the other. I absolutely believe that some of these people may be confused,but not all of them. I believe that some people have different wiring.

I have just read every single post in this thread and I find this discussion thoroughly interesting.

FWIW I went on a date with a girl once from POF, she was an absolute knockout 10/10 dimepiece, and after the date we ended up at her place in her bed. When things started heating up I was shocked to feel a bulge that was growing in size down there in the you know... nether region. I didn't know what to make of it so I slunk my hand down in and was EXTREMELY shocked to find a tiny penor that was rapidly growing in size once I touched it. inb4 copypasta and lulz - I am dead serious here. It wasn't my particular kink and when I figured out what was going on I promptly put my clothing back on and ran out the door because I had to return some videotapes or some other random excuse.

The whole experience left me feeling thoroughly violated and I still don't know what to make of it. With that said, I'll add my two pennies to the thread...

-'TS girls' should be very clear about what they are packing down there
-I find it very unnerving that I could feel attracted to such a fine looking woman who later appeared to have an extra thumb instead of a clitoris

Do they look and act like girls but have fully functional penors? Do they urinate through those penors, and do those penors produce the same white milky stuff as my heterosexual male produces? Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity are unrelated. Gay men don't generally want to be women, especially not through surgery.
