YES! my hamstring strength is coming back damn quick. I'm going to try ramping the weight up another 25 pounds or so for the next workout and deads will be reintroduced around the 365-405 mark.

Warm up properly so you don't injure yourself again.
I see your putting squats in again, good to here.

nobody listens to sound advice if it goes against the "goon squad" anymore so I just hang around in the misc and PL sections mostly. it seems my broscience is no longer wanted in teen body building.

I've spent a little time in the powerlifting section.
I feel weak if I'm there for too long.

My squats are starting to get very heavy. Idk whether to keep going until I can't hit 1x5, or to switch to madcows for my squats.
Or just deload some weight ~ I don't like this option.

if you want a linear program, the texas method is pretty good. it has a wider variety of rep ranges, more work sets, and it gets you used to higher weights with singles-triples on day 3 I believe.

I've looked into it before, madcows 5x5 is based off it so they're family similar. I wouldn't mind working with either.
I expect to switch my squat scheme within 2-3 weeks; max.

My current program is a mix of SS and madcows 5x5.
I enjoy creating my own shet.
    SS for squats/deadlift/rows
    Madcows for bench/OHP.

Techinically my squats aren't following any program right now since I only do 1-2 sets of 5 reps.

Worked a ten hour shift. Got 2h 30mins of sleep. Working another shift similar to yesterday. Will not have enough rest/motivation to step in a gym today most likely.
Hopefully I can make it up tomorrow if I don't have another shift.

    80's 2x10
    70's x 12

    pullups
    BW 3x10

    close grip bench
    185x11

    chest supported rows
    2 plates x 20

    2 supersets consisting of Jm press(10 reps/set), shrugs (AMRAP), hammer curls(8 reps/set), and lateral raises (8 reps/set)

I felt like throwing up after this workout and had some explosive diarrhea but at least the lifting was pretty good.

come by and check out my log. I'm racing to a 275x5 bench and 185x3 strict press with comps.

I haven't actually maxed since I began lifting again and I just started working legs again due to an injury.

the singles at 285 for bench were fairly easy so probably 295-300 right now but that should shoot up. 275 with a pause was quite fast too.
for the military i couldn't tell you because I've never maxed on it. my pushpress is somewhere near 235 for now though.

I squatted 275 the other day as a tester and I'm hoping for 405 again within 2 months
my first day back deadlifting I got 405 sumo. I pull a bit better conventional but I couldn't due to my back. my deadlift has never been great though

    Your lifts are impressive.

Do you focus more on powerlifting or bodybuilding.

I love strength training but i focus 100 percent on bodybuilding.

I definitely put more of a focus towards strength training. I kind of train with a hybrid between the two though. I still need a ton of size for strongman and it's not like I'll ever compete in bodybuilding anyway. pectus excavatum pretty much sealed my fate in regards to that

judging my your avi, no way in hell you have pectus excavatum. I have seen some guys with that bad. It looks like there chest is completely sucked in looks bad.

No way you have it, your chest looks good dude.

Wow bro, i live in a completel sh it town, like 500 people right.

Our town had a strongman. And 3 guys came from a town 1 hour away, another sh it town, had 10,000 people only.

Anyways 2 out of the 3 guys were completely jacked. Like 6'2 250lbs completely jacked.

There arms were insane, completley ripped.

Guys were overhead pressing 280lbs. I left the minute the last guy did 280lbs, reason was that i had to take a piss, so i went home, took a piss, and was to lazy to go back.

I guess he overhead pressed something like 320lbs. Both of the guys were going head to head both did 280lbs. LOL the one dude slapped the other guy for motivation.

It was funny because these guys were insane at strongman, and they were from another town, our town had this one guy who were short shorts, but had his socks really high up. Phuck did he look funny bro lol.

But ya what are those things called that those strongmans lift over there heads.

Its like a red log or something. They pick off the ground then overhead press it or something like that.

Interesting events though. Guys are strong as phuck.

I have quite a bit more mass in my chest than what you can see. from a side view, my shoulders almost protrude further than my chest and my abs, even when sucked in, go out further than my chest. it's part of the reason my bench is always so low compared to my squat. dat ROM is a bitch

I haven't actually measured it out but it's noticeable by sight alone so that should tell you enough lol. I can't complain though. my squats are always above average because of it and my bench is starting to get better because I am actually utilizing my body shape a bit more.
