No sir. Last bench workout is tomorrow. Probably going in for an early mornin' session before I spend the entire day working on projects for school.
I'll probably get back in there once I hit 225 bench... which should be next week I'm getting better at budgeting my time with everything so posting a workout 4x a week and staying away from the comp/bb.com for the majority of the time shouldn't be too bad ha
Very, very soon. Give me a few weeks and I'll be repping that bish out.
...Maybe... haha! No. Of course not!
Last bench workout tomorrow morning, then I'm taking a 4-7 upper body days (mainly shoulders/chest/tri's) off to recover to peak out on bench. Getting 225 the first time I attempt, then 235~ maybe the next time. These are mine.
Tomorrow:
120 x 8 reps
150 x 6 reps
170 x 4 reps
180 x 3 reps
190 x 2 reps
180 x AMRAP

--So, I forgot my journal, and wasn't quite sure what was on the menu for today, so I winged it a bit and just guessed I should have done 185 x 3, however I was supposed to hit 180 x 3 and then 190 x 2. What gives.

Fairly Strict Shrugs

Only got five hours of sleep last night + huge fight with my parents didn't get me in the best of moods, but my buddy Richard called me up and we went together. Wasn't really focused nor was I very energized but I definitely pushed through it and got a solid PR for my last bench workout. Time to take a few days off heavy benching/triceps/shoulder work and rest up. Dat dere 225 is fuking mine. I'm probably jus' gonna throw on a 45, 25, and two 10's so the two plates don't intimidate me. Hahaha.live.laugh.lift

It sure is interesting, and it's pretty fun as well. Yes it does. I set my max to 200 for the entire 9 weeks, although I wish I used my actual max. I never failed any reps even on bad days.live.laugh.lift

Well, ****! That was amazing. This was actually post my first job interview at the YMCA and it sounds like I have a great chance of obtaining this job. There were five people in there - pretty intimidating! Lifted with my three buddies who patiently for my interview to be over.

The nine week program I just completed called for two attempts of maxing out at two different days. I rested about six days before my first attempt of maxing out - hit 225. Then, I took three days off any heavy upper body work and tried again today because my Dad and buddy came with me + I was feeling decently strong.
Anyway, here's how today's benching went.

!!!!! 25 bench PR from this routine!!!!! I began it at 205x1RM / 190x3, and here I am hitting 230 for 1. I literally struggled about 15 solid seconds to lock this muthafukka out. Took soo long... but I'm happy I got it. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone stuck in a rut. Plus, it's pretty fun. Check it out. Looking forward to repping out 225 soon.live.laugh.lift

Haha yes you're right and I still haven't hit it. I almost pulled it with a trap bar but didn't. Once I hit 405x3 with a trap bar and/or 405x1 with a straight bar I'll begin logging again.
Perfect time to start now that I've surpassed two major goals: 315 squat and 225 bench.
Will do!! I actually checked it out yesterday but was so ****ing dumbstuck I didn't comment.
