Washington got a lot better IMO. I think Wentz is way better than people are giving him credit for and he and McClaurin are gonna mesh well. As a Packer's and Cowboy's fan I can say McCarthy ain't got it any more (was hopeful the time off between Green Bay and Dallas would have re-ignited something in him but it obviously did not) and until he's gone Dallas will hover around .500 which may or may not win them their division.

I am worried about dak. He chit the bed the 2nd half of the season last year, and has not looked good in training camp. That + no WRs = we are fuked. But hey we signed anthony bar!

Diggs was supremely over-rated last year. Pretty sure he was near the top in yardage allowed for a CB, but his high INT total over shadowed that. I expect a big regression this year from him. Probably 4-5 Picks.
It's OK though, we signed Anthony Barr who has been injury plagued the past two years.
I saw some videos of the O-line getting wrecked at practice the other day however, lol.6'1 - 240lbs

Agreed, so easy to look over him giving up so many yards when he wowed everybody with his interceptions.
Hey. At least we get some solid veteran presence.. lol!
Seen that too, so many would be sacks for Dak.. it ain't looking good boyos... I wonder how Thursdays joint practice with the Broncos will be like. Gregory probably gonna thrash our o lineR.I.P Greg Plitt

Almost feel bad for y'all, man. Jerry cannot go a year without butt****ing you guys.
Actually, scratch that. I do feel bad for y'all, because y'all, for the most part, aren't the delusional fans that I know personally.
Y'all would have at least 6 SBs since the 90s had Jimmy not been fired and Jerry not tried to replicate what Jimmy did by being his own GM.
Serious question, what do y'all think of Dak?AcetylCoA gets reps

I think the only person who was really sold on Dak hasn't posted in here in awhile (headinahole). The rest of us all view him as an average QB at best, granted some of it isn't his fault. The coaching/ownership (not sure which one) has desperately trying to make him into this 35-50 attempt pocket passing QB, which he is not. Dak is successful when he throws the ball ~20 times a game and uses his legs to make plays. He is talented, and he has a high ceiling, but the inconsistency is maddening, and there is no overlooking that his stats come from beating up chittier teams or garbage time.
Dak is not a QB who is going to carry the team, but he is good enough to get the job done but needs a solid team around him. The over paid the fuk out of him however, and now were stuck with that money on the books and limited ability to bring in complementary pieces.
Also paid 90 million dollars to a running back, just LOL.6'1 - 240lbs

Can't see how any logical person could see him as a good-great QB when he more often than not ****s the bed against good teams, but I understand the cognitive dissonance that comes with evaluating your own QB.
I can buy coaching & ownership having some responsibility for that, but it I feel like it's mostly on him. Still am mind-blown when I think about him replacing Romo, who I've always considered someone that got too much hate, but I'm with you on the 35-50 attempts thing. Guessing Jerry wants him to do that because A) he actually thinks Dak is great and B) to prolong his career, leading to more success for the organization. Jerry has always done some illogical stuff, though. Look at the last contract he gave Moose back in the day. for example.
The good news is that if he's cut after June 1 in 2024, the dead money is only $18.13M. Something to look forward to, I guess.
Jerry is nuts with the amount of money he throws at some players, man.
What's the deal behind Stephen Jones? He as ridiculous as his daddy?AcetylCoA gets reps

I shake my head at all the articles praising Dak, especially the last two years when they are drooling over his stats, while completely ignoring the fact that he piled them up against weak teams or when they were down 4 scores already and the defense was playing soft. I would guess Jerry is hell bent on proving Dak is "The Guy" since he replaced Romo with him, which was extremely questionable. It was hard call because Dak came in and excelled immediately, and you have Romo, who is on the back end of his career and is piling up injuries. I think a lot of teams would have rolled with Dak over Romo at the time when you factor in everything involved. Not the first time a rookie came in and stole a veterans job due to circumstance. Personally - I loved Romo, and wish he had a shot with that 2016 team.
Stephen appears to be ridiculous in the opposite manner of Jerry. Jerry throws money around like it's candy, and Stephen is cheap AF when it comes to free agency. Always signing previously injured/washed up veterans to these 1 year deals. Constant neglect in the secondary and interior defensive line, which are two areas we have been routinely torched on for years.
Dallas is doomed for mediocrity with the Jone's in charge. They missed their window when Dak and Elliott were on rookie deals. That was the time to make some signings that would push them over the top, but instead they continued to cheap out, and now they have a ton of money tied up with those two contracts.6'1 - 240lbs

Video below is on point, like dak or not it’s true. We’ll never win due to a completely retarded front office. Our starting #2 wr for the year will be a rookie from south Alabama lol

wish he had a longer look back window past this last offseason
There’s been plenty of playoff/sb runs where there were deficiencies in the wr slot and the team still made it
I think this argues to the point that the cowboys have to have big name players in key positions………………….cause the qb ain’t getting it done without themDallas Cowboys

Jerry absolutely wants to prove that he made the right decision in getting rid of Romo.
Can't be too surprised about the idiots drooling over his stats. Most sports fans don't know what the word context means. It's crazy because no one had tape on Dak when he took over, at least not from the NFL. People don't realize how much of a difference that makes.
Lmao how the hell does that happen? How do you go from someone throwing ludicrous amounts of money at everyone to someone that's cheap as hell.. Hey, at least y'all have Diggs! 11 INTs! Dumbasses thought the same about Xavien (sp?) Howard. Dude caught most of those INTs off bad passes and tipped balls. but people are like "throw the bank at him!"
You're right about that for sure. Still shocked Jerry gave them so much money.AcetylCoA gets reps

You mean like 2018 when our dumbazz owner realized in week 4 we had no wr threat?Point being … the front office does no favors. Kc reloaded their offense and offensive line when they lost hill, as did Green Bay. Our retool is starting rookie lg, horrible center, and we might have the worst wr core in the nfl minus the bears. I know you hate dak(I’m “ok” with him) but throw some of that on Jerry and Stephen because there also the ones that couldn’t give romo a defense. And that last sentence was the point he made in the video, patty ain’t doing anything “alone”
