Hardcore = your character dies once, you start over with a new one. 1 life. It's not for noobs or people who have heart attacks easily

Inferno = the hardest mode in D3. So many stories and rumors out about it, it's not even worth it to explain. It's going to be VERY difficult and not everyone will be able to beat it

i presume monsters/quests will give you gold, but like other game i kniw it wont be enough for good items so would farming a monster/skills be a better $ option?

Diablo doesn't rely heavily on gold as other games do. Apparently you can sell WoW gold for real cash?

Try that in D2 and get laughed at. It's for crafting and gambling and the occasional merc item

*edit* to answer your question... pick up magic/rare/class specific items and sell them to the merchants after identifying them. They'll pay you gold and there you go

Srsly, anyone hating on D3 cause of the beta has completely lost perspective.

EVERY RPG starts out extremely slow in order to orient the gamer to the systems. And games in Diablo's genre are like an inverted pyramid. The best and most compelling content is all at the end while the sh*ttiest content is at the beginning of the game.

Judging D3 based on the beta is like judging WoW based on the first 10 levels.

the beta is meant for blizzard to test their side of the game its not a demo that's suppose to hype people up lol. and for the open beta thing. blizzard did it so to test the server, they wanted it to crash to get out the bugs...so if people were expecting a big badass beta then yeah u were only used to fix bugs sorry folks.

I live in Canada, and the stores here are doing a midnight launch and will be giving a lot of free stuff out, like the D3 steel book, posters, etc.

Also, if you're actually fit, then EVERYONE lined up and the female store employees will be mirin' hard. seriously, it's 99% nerds at these midnight launches; i'd go just so I could become Myron Gains for the night.

Going to the store at a nerd gathering just so the female cashier can "mire" you in comparison is something I'd think about if I was like 14 lol. Sounds like someone who doesn't get a lot of action... Or sunlight

Does anyone know if the D P S rate on weapons will be altered by magical properties?

I'm thinking that the D P S rate is not effected by magical properties because the *** number remains white, whereas magical properties are blue.

The "feel" of Diablo 3 is terrible IMO. It feels like an indie developer's Torchlight clone. Fun, well made, but not Diablo 3, and not worth $60.

Come on, no one who played Diablo 2 back when it first came out can honestly say that Diablo 3 feels anything like a Diablo game, can they?

This guy knows whats up. Starting areas of wow turned me off to the game. It wasn't until a friend of mine dragged me into the Deadmines that I realized what the game was actually gonna be like.

People are ignoring the fact that the beta is 1/3 of 1/4 of the game... and it's on normal. They already said act 1 on normal is a 'tutorial'.

The first ten levels of WOW were boring as fuk, plz go. Don't judge a game by the beta. Would you judge D2 by act 1 normal?

And secondly, I'd rather not play side by side with a person who thinks that either, because chances are they play these games like complete morons anyway.

best thing you can do is just compare the numbers, google the minimum graphic card with the one you might buy etc etc. Im not a wiz with hardware specs but I'll just google the processor min and mine and see which one is better....more reliable then one or two miscers saying your computer will be fine if ya ask me *shrugs*

Don't do it. The game is far removed from its prime and D3 is about to become Blizzes new big thing so wow will die soon enough.
