Talk about dodging a bullet with Osweiler. Rookie QB Siemian is on $500K and has better numbers.

I don't understand the Texans' play-calling either. Denver has one of the best secondaries in the league, but has ranked 22nd against the run. Alfred Blue, for crying out loud, was averaging over 5 yards per carry against them (and it wasn't just one long 44 yard carry to pad his 63 yard total (on 11 carries). he had a long of 17, but was regularly ripping off 7-8 yard carries. Alfred Blue! His career ypc has been under 4. He is a plodder.
Lamar Miller also had 11 carries for 61 yards. He was regularly ripping off chunk yardage (he did hurt his shoulder on his 3rd carry, which is why Blue rushed so many times). But in a game, where both running backs are demolishing the opposing run defense, why would you give them only 22 carries compared to 41 attempts by the pathetic Osweiler? When one of his receivers finally had their 2nd catch, he was 5 for 13 and not a single receiver had more than 9 yards on a catch. It was pathetic. At that same time, the running backs had only had 10 total carries:
1st down: Osweiler pass incomplete
2nd down: Lamar Miller rushes for 7 yards
3rd down: Osweiler pass complete to Will Fuller for 2 yards (Fuller's 2nd catch, Osweiler's 5th completion)
4th down: Punt

I don't think it's nothing "of value", I think it's nothing.
Being exceptionally capable at a difficult sport that requires great physical ability the likes of which us mere mortals can only dream, that is actually a thing. Physical contests go back farther than our species, whether or not you care to spectate.
So, what does she do? What is her career?

I know you're playing devil's advocate and it's a valid point however at least professional athletes have talent and had to work hard.
Millions of kids right now are training to reach a level that only a select few ever get to. To be the next Tom Brady or LeBron. The next Roger Federer. Tiger Woods. List goes on.
Now if you're a young woman aspiring to follow in the footsteps of Kardashian, what kind of skills would you be working on and what are your goals? Making a sex tape? Trying to get 100 million followers on Twitter? Have a TV show about your life? I hope you can see the difference.

The Devil's Advocate position would be that those millions of kids would be better off doing something else. 99.999% of them never make it to professional sports. The ones who do would be fortunate to come out of it with enough money to retire and live comfortably.
The difference I see is the discipline. Those millions of kids learn discipline along the way. That translates to future goals. All Hail the Ultimate Master, "I Know More Than The Generals Do", Donald Camacho Dr. Pepper X-Ray AR-15 Trump

A lot of people "doing something else" are punching the clock everyday feeling miserable.
It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Many athletes have an education to fall back on.
Getting back to the original point, if a kid with talent and drive wants to be the next Roger Federer or Kobe Bryant that's a better goal than aspiring to be some talentless hack who'd be flipping burgers without social media.

Missed the game but watched the highlights. Felt great.
If they fail hard this year it will send a strong message to other players thinking of pulling a KD.
LeBroner was crucified for taking his talents to South Beach with Bosh but he didn't go to a team he blew a 3-1 lead against in the playoffs nor was Miami a team making Finals — they'd had 4 crappy seasons since winning in '06.
In other news, you've got to feel for Anthony Davis. 50 points, 16 rebounds, seven steals, five assists and four blocked shots and still lost to... Denver.
