Honestly never in my life have I ever ran into a cop that served of any help whatsoever. Police are the biggest gang there is, forget about gangsters on the street, the people you need to fear are the cops. They put on a badge and think they are gods, and forget about using your word against theirs because you WON'T win. They could do NOTHING. Why would you risk being shot and/or beaten yourself? That makes no sense. You put your hands on an officer, you're gonna go down....period. Laws are pretty strict about sh** like that. The only thing they could've done is what they did, watch.

Why would a bystander do that ? Because it is the right thing to do. Cops might think twice about assaulting someone the day they're found guilty and executed by the street justice. Huge difference between justice and the law. Thanks to the internet, vids like this one get seen by millions and less people pledge blind allegiance to the police and military, aka hitmen clothed in the power of discretionary killing.

well no, but most jobs don't put you are the risk of being shot. I'm not standing up for this **** btw, just trying to look at both sides of the argument. There are far too many videos of people getting beat by police for no reason. I've also seen multiple instances of racism first hand. I've been pulled over several times, every time that I was alone or with white friends I either got off or got a speeding ticket or tail light warning or whatever. And if I was with friends that were black, I was asked almost every time if I had anything illegal in the car and cops have asked to search my vehicle or pop the trunk for no reason.

I'd like to add that I did a small stent in retail pharmacy (Costco) and we had to deal with a shit-ton of beligerant customers.

Most of the time it was people calling us incompetent and trying to get in our face, but I can recall one older lady swung her purse at me from over the counter once I told her the price of her meds, and another got mad because her script wasn't ready and started throwing Dr Scholls shoe insoles at us like frisbees. I guess if I was a cop i'd have the "authorita" jump over the counter and beat them to a pulp with my pestle that I use to crush up pills. Of course as "punishment" i'd get a 3 months suspension with pay.

As another guy (from my own home country) confirmed, outside the US, that off-duty cop would have gotten his teeth kicked out (if he was lucky) by the guys standing around.

Its crazy to non-US brahs to see how untouchable cops are. And as I said: this particular cop had already two lawsuits for excessive force, also using his baton and pepper spray in an off-duty situation.

Sadly thats slowly changing as more and more states are making it illegal to film cops. Hell, even if its legal to film a cop in a particular state the "свинья" wiil pull that stunt where they start charging you for petty infractions/misdemeanors just so they can have an excuse to fine/arrest you.

With how many of these videos get posted on the misc I would think statistically I would have been beaten at least a couple dozen times. But guess what, I've never put myself in this type of situation.
