Hey guys, has anyone found constant success this baseball season yet?
I finally became very profitable in hockey at the end of the season doing 50/50s and head to heads, but can't seem to figure out baseball
I've been doing the following to pick my lineups:
check weather and rule out any potential games with rainouts
check 5dimes for teams over/unders
choose pitchers according to the over unders
check high overs to find the offense, then fill in the other positions
I don't really understand what I'm looking for when it comes to choosing my offense as well as other players.
How does batting order work? Do i want the 3/4/5 in line? 1st, etc?
I've never been a baseball fan so don't really know what works, the variance kills me.

I'm addicted to playing daily fantasy baseball. I havent found anything yet. Just get lucky when I win. Still in the learning stages. I usually ride a hot batter, IE Rasmus is streaky and he hit well the other night so I picked him up tonight, which continued tonight. I also look at batter vs pitcher. (usually anything less than 25 at bats I dont take into consideration). Mainly try to find value on low salary playersCanucks

I rarely pay any attention to BvP. I, for the most part, focus on pitchers. Pick out the top few to target for your SP spot and the bottom few to target hitters facing them. Also, let managers do the work for you in some cases, especially plugging in value plays. For example, last night I checked the lineups and saw Hector Sanchez batting 5th for the Giants, I don't even know who that is but he ended up with like 4 hits. Also, Brandon Barnes and Drew Stubbs, both under 3k on fanduel, were batting 1 and 2 in the Rockies lineup last night and made great value plays both with multiple hits.

Kershaw is really the only top guy tonight but he's coming off the injury so I don't know what to expect from him. I am actually going with Josh Tomlin tonight on a whim and loading up with the Colorado and Detroit right handed big bats.
Edit: I realize this probably contradicts my previous post a bit about about the SP spot haha. I just don't really like any of the options tonight so I'm just entering the fan duel bunt with the Tomlin play.

I'm still a bit confused on which players I should be looking at in the batting order?
What position in the batting order is most likely going to get me the most points? I originally thought third, fourth, fifth because they have the potential for RBI points, but you're saying 1 and 2 as well? I don't know baseball whatsoever

ha, didnt intentionally stack them, then pre-game I looked at it and was like "Fck, maybe I should swap out Solarte or Ellsbury." I have no faith in C.J., everytime I take ol dude he gets shelled (SEA, DET). Seems like Brian Roberts is going back to the PED Brian Roberts that stole 50+ bases and was straight money.

Also got an opportunity to whoever is good at MLB
DK gave me ALOT of $27 qualifiers for MLB
Anyone who can give me lineups... I will give you a % of the winnings
I have to win a qualifier with your lineup and win to the real cheese
we can write up a little contract
I just have alot of these tickets and I do not play MLB
I can go after the 500k championship or the legend series event or any $200 fantasy baseball championship qualifier
I just have them and I wont do anything with them otherwise so I figured I would askCPA
