Around October or so, I was in Narragansett visiting my GF. While I was up there, she had an exam to study for so we posted up in a coffee shop for a little while. I'm not in school anymore, so the only thing I really had to do was play on my phone. Mid-way through that, I got kind of bored and asked for her notebook.

Posted them up before, but I kind of don't like putting my work out publicly. Themes tend to differ very vastly from what I typically represent.

Had a customer call in an order, big order, lots of extra dipping sauces says she's sending her mom in to pick it up. her obese mom comes in out of breath from the walk through the front door, adds 2 packs of almond cookies to the order. i offer to help her carry her order to the car, because i see how painful it is for her to walk, at all. we get to her car and her obese daughter is sitting in the front seat waiting for the food...seriously what goes on in your head when you're too fat to get out of a car to get more food even when your mom is in terrible pain? no motivation to lose a little weight?

So my girlfriend is 8 days out from comp and making decent progress as well. Our goal is for her to get a 600 total at this meet @123lbs.

To qualify for nationals she need a 573 total, which she should have on lock (she's hit 575 at a different federation). To qualify for worlds she needs 640; so in a perfect world she can do this meet, then hit a 640 at nationals in July, then do worlds in November next year. Obviously, plans can totally change.

I look around and see this fat f*cking thing sitting at a table, screaming across the parking lot because her mother had parked about 3 rows away. And she was at least 50 too, so God knows how old poor mum was. I caught the eye of another woman watching the show and we both just burst out laughing. Meanwhile this bitch is still yelling at her mother, and taking breaks to mutter how she's "not gonna f*cken walk that far". After about 5 minutes she finally gets up and waddled away. No obvious signs of any inability to walk, just didn't wanna do it.
