I do low bar and they are great. I don't understand why you think they wouldn't work well with that variation.

01-28-2016, 08:58 AM #1569I don't believe in deloading. Instead you should find someone at the gym, ask them to be your friend, once you are friends ask them to blind fold you, make sure not to look cheeky because otherwise they might get the wrong end of the stick. Then ask them to load the bar with a number between 2.5kg - 250kg, then blast out 4x10 reps. You gotta get past that mental block, deloads are a waste of time and you don't get any kudos from your new friend at the gym. Seeking: Hip Press

Thanks. I didn't think it wouldn't work well, but was just more, or less making sure. I've been eyeing them...Maybe very soon, In the meantime one more probably obvious question...Do the monolift hooks vary on the hole number from where your standard j-cup setting would sit? (Not a big deal, just wondering).

i was honestly going to guess something to hold the sleeves of a barbell but i couldn't think whafor.
and beer holder is kind of a cliche no? what about a swing in desk attachment for the guy who had his rack in his bedroom?

So cheeze is replacing all the braces on his rm6 for versions with more holes. Lol.
And this thing is getting there. Have to finish handles/grips
And before someone else asks for one of these and freaks out when I come up with a price, this is why. Takes some skill and some time to setup one of these to be able to weld without it moving in every direction.

welding round to square sounds like a nightmware (and rhymes, btw)
looks crazy.
do you have any pieces you enjoy the making of? or is it the finished product that makes the work worth it?
in other words: are there pieces where you go "i hope people order more of these" vs are you a "okay i made a good version of X, time to move on to the next one"Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Not really. I'm much more into designing and drawing up the thing than actually building it. Although the final assembly (after powder coat) is really cool, THE FIRST TIME. After you've done a few it quickly looses it's charm. I'm really digging trying to get this FT ready, on cad. Welding it is going to be something else, lol. No uhmw on it however, so it's already a favorite
