    You don't test your 1RM on all the lifts in one session? I've always done it in one session and it usually takes me an hour.

    3x5 on bench for 87.5kg (192.5lb) and that was after deadlifting (2x days in a row)

    puts my 1rm at 217 from 209

    herp, unimpressive but it's progress


    edit: i understand the whole 'no mobile phones in gym' thing, but if you think about it it's really only because the guys you see who spend large amounts of time on their phone are the little teeny boppers... so really it's more that then anything else. If i saw someone who actually lifts using their phone I honestly wouldn't think anything of it because at least they have shown through how they look they're actually there to work out

    I feel you on people in the gym that don't seem to be doing much. What always blows my mind most though is the guys that walk into the gym and just start bicep curls without any type of warm-up or compound lift or whatever. Just cold and hop on to the dumbbell rack.

    Not that I care that much but if I spend 90 minutes warm up, mobility, compound lifts and a few iso's the finish off and the guy that walked in at the same times is still doing curls for 1.5 hours, he's doing it wrong.
    Iron, sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos.

    I love people like this. Just keep the gym in business and keep enough revenue to justify a fully equipped olympic area and all the extras like GHR a typical commercial gym doesn't normally stock.

    I also like it when a bro is trying to give a girl some advice and I'm lifting double what they are doing the other side of the room and the girl looks across and you can see his ego dropping
