Schiff, Dems weigh ‘extraordinary steps’ to hide whistleblower identity from GOP lawmakers
Not only is Schiff’s team considering masking the whistleblower, who is reportedly a CIA officer, but they are looking at having the person testify somewhere off-site and may prevent lawmakers from asking questions, the Washington Post reported.

Dems are literally trying to use the same terrible playbook the Repubs used in the Clinton impeachment debacle from the 90s, which was a chit show and IMO a terrible way to conduct politics. They're drawing this out as long as they possibly can so that they can scour and all communications on the topic to try to drop an obstruction or perjury crime on the President regardless of the context.
There are so many signs pointing to dishonesty by the dems and breaches of clearance by everyone and yet here we are still trying to push this silly narrative forward. Just let the presidency come to term and vote him out at the end if you can. I think it was Deomcrats that said "people that dont accept the results of an election are a threat to the Democracy" or something along those lines, and yet here they are, 3 years later, still not accepting that there is a duly elected President in office.
Get off it. For fuks sake.***Mariah Carey is my 10/10 Crew***

Once again, there's nothing official taking place. It's all a show for the media, put on by the Dems.
If they took a vote on impeachment and then started questioning people, it'd be legit. But in that case, the House Dems would be obligated to share all information and we wouldn't be having closed door interviews with people.
Which is why Trump telling people to ignore their requests is fine. There's no actual investigation, so why humor the Democrats?
Additionally, the hypocrisy (as usual) is astounding here. Because when Holder was actually under investigation, for an actual crime, the Dems basically encouraged Holder to ignore the subpoena.

So the IG concluded that the complaint was credible despite 1) not having any first hand knowledge and 2) the IG never looked at the transcript of the call. The IG also never questioned why the whistleblower left blank the section that is supposed to be filled out if you had previously discussed with congress or other officials. The IG believes that the crime committed here was a phantom campaign finance violation, typically handled by the FEC in the form of a fine.
Apparently in the behind closed door interview, the IG had no explanation for any of the irregularities, and the republicans are currently circling like vultures to get at him again.
Remember, this IG was the legal counsel and John Carlin and folks back in 2016 when these people were approving the bogus FISA warrants on Trump team members.
The DOJ OLC reviewed the IG handling of the whistle blower complaint and basically ridiculed the guy for using terrible legal judgement.
Again, I don't know how much more evidence we need here of this being a fabricated set up. The best thing that the left has right now is a text message from a guy saying "I can't believe we are doing a quid pro quo with ukraine!!!!" Conveniently, that person had spoken to schiff's staff just weeks before the text, and the person said they got the idea that there was a quid quo pro by... a politico article.
And we are going to push forward impeachment based on this?
Lawdy... people are shook at what the IG report and Barr/Durham investigation is going to dig up.

Lulz, I love the interview by guys like clapper, brennan, comey, etc.
They are all trying to save themselves, but at the same time 1) emphasize russia was the boogeyman and 2) say that all of their illegal activity simply designed to spy on trump was ACTUALLY meant to save the country.
PLay the victim, every chance you get.

The only thing I can be sure the Dems are trying to do is cock block the GOP reps from having subpoena power.
From that they will either:
"Investigate indefinitely while complaining about a lack of transparency (LULZ) and cooperation."
OR
"Drop a yes or no vote on the house floor without a full inquiry"
A couple of years ago I would have thought option A was the only play, but dems are taking bigger risks. I suspect they don't have faith Warren can beat Trump.
GOP senators will never vote "YES" on impeachment without proof and a real investigation. I would bet the optics of this would be horrible for the Wisconsin and Michigan blue collar peeps.Finance Degree - USAF INTEL - IIFYM - Injured Crew - KTM XCW300 - Single Track Trail Rider - NRA Supporter - Shunned from MFC - Libertarian - Pragmatist
