I love the Jefit app - big database and you can add your own workouts. Tracks your volume over time and attempts to calculate and track 1RMs. It has easy support for supersets and circuits and whatever. Lets you set rest times on your routines and honks at you when it's time to get off your ass and lift.
I paid for mine, but I don't remember what features were missing from the free one. Great app.

btw i bought the iphone app called gym buddy and i use it EVERY time i workout.. it's great for keeping a log of your workouts and it gives you "props" every time you best a recordAug 1 to Nov 1 Goal: Get down to <160 lbs

Think I am going to take my leg day off tonight may do some light cardio or just do some AB exercises as my left leg is sore in a weird spot from the attempted running this weekend I am guessing I'm way over due for taking a week off from lifting try to take one every 8-12 weeks I was waiting until Memorial Day week when I am going to try to have my kids for most of it. Nutrition is on track not hard cutting at 1900-1950 calories a day.

Binged last night.
Got home from work, started to lift, after warmup of bench started feeling dizzy & shaky.
Murdered a bag of sweet potato & sea salt chips & half a box of fruit snacks.
Felt a TON better about a half hr after that.
Then took it easy the rest of the night.
I've been on my feet more during the day at work, no longer chained to the desk.
Think it's time to up my cals again because obviously 1400-1500 isn't enough.
Going up to the 1700-1800 range until end of the month & see how that works then continue through may.
will post progress pics next week & take measurements. Weight is a useless number right now since my water weight is all over the place daily due to carb spikes.
Going by the mirror and how my pants fit now.

You have killed it during this what did you start the thread at seeing that you are 6'1 and 164 makes me wonder if I'll be happy with what I see in the mirror at 170 and 6ft I guess you did a dirty bulk of sorts before this cut right? I think I'll just have to bulk once I get to 170 or maybe 165 depending how I look the closer I get since i've never bulked I don't think I have as much muscle base as you did when you started this cut. I am happy where I am though as well I hit my goal and tomorrow will maybe post a small loss or stay the same.

Well, tomorrow's my last weigh-in before I go on break. I'm reasonably confident of sub-150.
Also my last lifting session for a week. Usually I do four sets in the 8-10 rep range on most lifts, but I think tomorrow I'll go for broke and try for some 3-5 rep heavy sets. Been a while since I've gone TEST YOUR MIGHT mode.

Man I hate those binges!! I had one last night at Mcdonalds although it wasn't a "binge". I went out with my roomie and just had a night out for us. Anyways I went in a surplus by like 500-600 and Im going to try to make up for it today and with cardio next few days...
I have a body media fit and I was thinking of putting it on again. I wore it for like a week and i got around a 2800 cal average as maintence for the week. I wonder if I should maybe up my calories a bit. I lost like 3 lbs but it could of been water weight from my vacation. I wonder if water weight could carry over a week? Im at 1900 cals despite whatever my work outs are and my job week looks like.. I should try to see if I can go by what my body media fit comes up with. I

We are probably the same weight when water is gone.
It can take 4 to 10 days for water weight to go away with me.
i'm keeping it in the 1700-1800 range & going to try & get cardio in every day.
I really don't have that much to drop.
Just want my luv-handles to shrink back down to their pre-fulk size so when I properly bulk this summer my shorts don't get tight on me and I don't squish out my swimming trunks. LOL!

184.0 lbs today so stayed the same as last Friday weight wise but I was able to lift more this week than last so putting the extra calories to use and maybe my mind is playing tricks on me but notice more visible muscle and can see the vague outline of my top 4 abs after an ab workout or in the AM. Loose skin and time will have to pass before it's more than just an outline.
We'll see if anything changes by Wednesday but either way I am happy with the progress this Thread and onto the next one.Rebooted 2/24/2015: 286 lbs
