6-6'1ish should weigh around 180-190. someone whos not too skinny, not too fat. but in between, average..
im 5'7 and i weight around 150. 5'10 should be around 155-165ish...

There is no weight you 'should' be at. Actually, there is: it's called your weight set point and you don't know what that is. Furthermore, you are never the same weight all of the time. Body weight fluctuates throughout the week and even throughout the day. No two people are the same and statistics are a joke. Also, you should not be striving to be any particular weight. You should not be focusing on weight. You should be concentrating purely on being healthy. How healthy you are would be determined by the results of your blood tests.
Everybody tells me I look great, but then some doctors have 'expressed their concern' about my weight, thinking that I am a bit overweight. This is especially the case with websites assessing BMI and body composition. However, I am 6 feet tall and just under 200 lbs. My body fat is under 10%. I'm happy with that.***Irish Misc Crew***

I'm up to 185 at 6'2, and most people still consider me "skinny". So at 5'10 150 is still pretty low

Seeing how much I can increase strength, endurance, and athletic performance while maintaining approximately 190 lbs and single digit bf.

SLAYDOX thnx for your advices which i began 2 follow and now am eating alot and not counting calorie untl gaining some pounds then i'll start care about calories quality >>>>ur advices wat really makes try 2 stop being anorexia as u enlighten me it can get ugly and bad and i didnt know i was destroying my internal organs so my one last thing is

i'm eating the same food i used 2 eat while i was anorexia but with 2 changes first i dont measure any food
second i add food which my mom cooks which is not healthy but it was wat i used 2 eat it b4 so i have the same meal but i add some of my mom pasta wiz fatty souse or i eat a small piece of any dessert but the bulk of my food is the healthy stuff
is that OK
coz i tried to 2200 healthy food i ended up eating 1600 and felt like i over ate however i was under eatingmedo30886@yahoo.com

heres my deal
its been two years but ive been able to come all the way from 245 to 187-193. Im not sure what my bf is but i can see my abs so i imagne its pretty low. but it seems like every few days i just cant stop eating... but im not full either though. like tonight, i weighed myself a few days ago and was 187.5 and i was happy because im down to those last few pounds of fat but tonight i just couldnt stop eating. i ate about 6 bagels and half a jar of pb and even than i could still go on. im a little bloated but its not close to what you would expect. how do i stop these cravings? ive tried to imagne what i will look like if i stick to my eating plans but even than it doesnt help.

Sounds like your not eating OFTEN enough...you need to seriously eat 6 meals a day...at your weight, you should do something like 6 meals at 500 calories each (for maintenance). Doing this keeps blood sugars level throughout the day and hence forth controls your appetite...

I have a major binge problem... In fact i just got done with a binge right now, it was the worst binge i have ever had. 1 bowl kashi go lean, 1 box raisens, 2 servings peanuts, 5 pickels, a promax protein bar, almost half of a banana walnut coffee cake, and atleast 10 pieces of easter candy. I dont know how to stop these binges, it's like a force that you cant pull away from.

Here my story :
1 year and half ago i was very obese 250-255lbs then got my new labour job, didnt know the proper way to diet and macro so i did a stupid things i eat between 1200-1500 cal a day wich was mostly apple,frozen meal,watermelon,cereal
1years later i found out about bb.com started reading it like a religion ,
whit horror i learned how bad i hurt my body and become skinny fat slowing my metabolism,lost of muscle etc..
then i hit a plateau i figured was probably due to starvation so i upped my cal
I started to eat more and more up to 2200 to 2700 cal a day but weight didnt change much got a couple lbs heavier (water weight?) feel bloated etc.. so i dropped down to 2300 cal a day ... yea yea i know.
My work! oh man thats the things i hate it due to it nature i cant calculate my bmr i fast walk 8 hours straight taking lots of car piece in my hands transport it to a container and send it
can only sit at my break and dinner just for the fun friday i used a step counter (brought it cheap for the heck of it) i did nearly 14k step and that friday was very relax (rare from my work) its was probably about 1/6 of a real day i checked some site like fitday and other they say i burn around 1600 cal a day just doing that (cant be right)
i eat 6meal a day that come close to 40/40/20
but i always hungry 30-40min later and cant stop think about my next meal
recently i was been getting sweet tooth like never i would binge often on sugar stuff, hell im at the job no energy what so ever but just thinking about some ice cream - cake give me energy
im very depressed at the moment about it hell this week-end i did binge again and right after make myself puke twice
i just cant fricking get the food in the scare of getting thats much fat again paralyse even tough i know it mental
any sugestion or idea to help?
what to do?
by the way i try to write it to best of my knowledge of english its not my primary language so it may not be readable

i know exactly how you feel.
other people talk about how they are able to eat until they are 'full'. what is 'full'? the only 'full' i know is being so full that i can barely walk without throwing up. Its like the part of our brains that tell us we are full are broken... i know thats not a scientific answer or anything but sometimes i feel that way. I can put down like 2 lbs of meat and not even be phased.minnesota vikings fan

same only time im full its when i can hardly walk
i try lots of stuff fiber,brocoli, oats etc... all that dont work and yes whit plenty of water .
When i read people that going to buy supplement like black hole or post cause they cant eat enought because there always full i wish i could trade my stomach whit them lol
MEAt! ahh you should of see my reaction when i first measure my meat of 5 oz i was like wtf only that tiny bits????

I have a sweet tooth.
I eat Cadbury's Milk Chocolate with hazelnuts without hesitation. It's like I forget about calories, my goals, and enter a world of dark love when I see that sh!t and that sh!t only.Last edited by kappaton; 04-20-2007 at 01:01 AM.
