Playing Final Fantasy III on the SNES classic for the first time ever. Its a hard game. Felt like my childhood was robbed missing this ****. i would've loved it back then. also naming my characters like:

Theft is wrong and thieves suck. No one is debating that. They shouldn't exist, but they do. So I have no sympathy for any idiot that goes out of their way to make a thief's job easier. Yes, I still hope they catch the thief and he gets his prison time (or better yet caught in the act and put out of our misery), but if you left your keys in an unlocked car, you asked for it.

Two most recent purchases are a P07 and a USP. I've shot the VP9 and P30L as well. Honestly? CZ.

I know that HK makes newer pistols than the USP, but I wanted one because Blood Diamond and 90s movies, if we're being honest. It's reasonably light, and I do like the V1 system (cocked and locked or DA/SA - no parts swap necessary), but the trigger is horrendously stiff and 13+1 isn't as good as 15+1. Sights are OK and very easy to change if you don't like them. It's been 100% reliable. That said, HK had firing pins breaking like crazy in the first several years of production and people recommend dry firing with snap caps even today. Meh...durability? Not so much. The ergos are OK - grip texture is very good - my only gripe that would translate to most current HK pistols is that the takedown lever / slide stop is huge and serves as a very uncomfortable reference point for your offhand thumb.

The P07 has been amazing. The ergos seem to have been designed by people who actually shoot - the offhand thumb reference point is textured and all of the controls are out of the way. The "thin slide ghey" look translates to a fantastic shooting pistol. You can buy them at around half the price of a USP too, and several hundred less than HK's newer hammer fired pistols.


The HK trigger is so heavy, that it's actually become my DA/SA trainer pistol because if you can shoot this thing well, you can shoot any handgun well.

The DA pull on the USP is ridiculous. It's like 30 lbs and a mile long.

Edit: ff3 is a classic. It's a shame square enix is moving away from turn based RPG for the FF7 remake.

Edit: ff3 is a classic. It's a shame square enix is moving away from turn based RPG for the FF7 remake.

Could be worse. I had hours of game time with FF Revenant Wings on my sons DS years ago and he wiped it out for no rhyme or reason.

Had some fun playing that as a kid. My copy suffered pretty hard from dirty NES cartridge syndrome. Quite frequently I'd have issues where the game would play fine, but there would be all sorts of artifacts on the screen. I always just chose to believe that the audience was upset with the game and trowing trash on the ice.

I would still like to try a VP9 honestly, but it just doesn't fit anywhere for me. I'm working towards a good collection of CZ mags now since the P10C, P-07, and Shadow all use the same style mag. The Shadow mags just stick out a little on the other two but still work well. This is another reason why I need the P-09.....


What's that rule on buying two handguns within a few days? How long should I wait before I get the P-09?
