Okay this season definitely feels "Off" It doesn't feel the same....
These Kings Landing scenes, Snake people scenes... they don't feel like Game of Thrones at all.. the show just seems like it's getting a little out of track? I don't feel like it has that Spark anymore... The rest of the stories are doing great so far tho.

No work today, and finally watched episode 7!
By far one of the best episodes of the season... A LOT of chit building up, and a lot of things answered.
- My ***** Sam getting it in
- "My name is Tyrion Lannister" - Best phucking line ever to finally pick up the whole Dany story line
- Cersei FINALLY getting put in her place
3 more episodes fellas, hopefully we'll get to see a lot more exciting stuff over the next few weeks!

The power is always shifting. Like Dany says in the trailers and I'm assuming in an upcoming episode about spokes on a wheel, power constantly shifting. The Church becoming popular isn't surprising in the slightest.
Fact is quite a few of the original players are dead and they need to build a couple more before the final season so all the main pieces (Houses) are on the board. People are complaining about scenes and characters being pointless even though they've only been introduced for a couple of episodes, we have no idea what the end game is with any character.
The scope of the world GRRM has built is huge, it was always going to be very difficult to translate onto TV, especially books 4 and 5 which do a lot of setting up. We've past that point in some stories now though so we'll definitely be seeing some payoff in the next couple of episodes.1977

The loss of Tywin Lannister really did it. Cersei only feels powerful because she always had the backings of her father. Now that Tywin is gone, it feels like Cersei doesn't have any real power.
The only saving grace from those sand snakes is Tyene and her perfect titties.

The rules are pretty simple guys, you dont talk about the books, there is a whole other thread for that...
Things are always as good or as bad as you think they're going to be

Talking about the books in a way that does not spoil the TV show for people is different to talking about the books and revealing huge plot points that spoil it. To say that book 4 and 5 are mostly filler and setup for something clearly bigger (which even book readers have yet to see, so that in itself isn't spoiling anything) is not a spoiler. In fact if anything it should help re-assure TV watchers that they aren't actually missing much of importance, and that the show has actually done a good job of turning that filler into fairly compelling TV.

Ok, fair enough, I accept that. But don't tell people they can't have theories just because they've read the books. Not when said theories are taken from what is presented on screen for all to see. Whether someone's read them or not is irrelevant. The distinction should be whether a theory spoils the TV show. And in this case, it doesn't. Since it's from what we've seen on TV.

Does anyone think Ramsay is giving Sansa anal?
Or is he trying to sire an heir?Joining Sherdog.com doesn't make you an MMA expert, reading Saucehead's threads don't make you a player and if describe yourself as an "alpha male", chances are, you're not one.

This. Tywin was the most powerful man in Westeros (and a strong ruler) by far up until this point, and his presence was basically the glue holding everything together. His death created a huge power vacuum and now there is nothing to keep the Boltons, Littlefinger, and the Tyrells in line, and the crown is now run not by him, but by Cersei who is completely incompetent, and Tommen, who is a pussy. The crown would be in good shape if Tommen had a good adviser (who was Tywin) and Cersei wasn't desperately trying to keep her fortune of being displaced by a hotter queen from coming true.

This, tywin was the mad kings Hand and it was actually him ruling during this time causing the seven kingdoms to prosper.
Also his father was a beta and the rains of castamere was created due to tywin obliterating two major families who disrespected and rebelled against the lanisters.
Tyrion killing tywin was awesome scene but I miss tywin.
