Because a guy in his forties is already set in his ways. It's really hard to change to married life if you're not used to it. Also, a guy in his forties and never married is a bit suspect. The same way if a woman in her thirties has never married, you will start to think why. Men have more time but there's a limit.
Now, I'm not saying anyone has to get married. Marriage is pretty much a useless institution nowadays. However, he says he wants to get married.

I'll make some more for you
Ya I have a friend that is 47 and has been divorced twice (both women cheated on him) but he definitely has some strikes against him since he is single ya know? I want him to be happy but yeah I've known him to be single after 39 for the most part. Some relationships here and there but nothing no longer than a year.A hit was sent, from the President, to raid your residence /

Hmmm lot of dating. Typically his cycle is that he will be dating a girl for a few months and its great, then for some reason it gets weird and they end things with him. He jokes about being able to get women but not keeping them.
I only know him as a friend though so I'm not sure what baggage he brings into a relationship and I've never heard it from the woman's perspective. He also dates pretty young. Mid 20s - Mid 30s. I've never see him date someone his age.A hit was sent, from the President, to raid your residence /

I was talking about never married, not divorced. You can't control other people's behavior. I've been married 21 years but if my husband decided to leave me, there's nothing I could do. People are not always staying the same for decades.
You can only control yourself but not others. If your friend got divorced because he got cheated on, it's not his fault. Obviously I don't know him but he's not to be blamed for others actions.
