You guys should check out the DCORP ico. If anyone here has studied finance they know how big the derivatives market is. Dcorp wants to bring a derivative exchange to cyrpto, which will be huge if successful. Whether DCORP is successful or not, within the next few years if cyrpto is still around, there 100% will be a derivatives market. Just need to hope that DCORP is the one that is successful.
The ICO is not super ovrehyped either, they only want to raise $13million.
BlockNet is also worth doing some more research on for a small coin.
I think people here are making some mistakes with what they buy and how they buy.
If you research a coin:
1. Look at something with a market cap $100mil or less, this gives you the best potential for 10x
2. Make sure there is an active development team, check the bitcoin talk thread and see how active it is. Are the developers answering questions. Check reddit-(although this is not always active)
3.Check their websites. Does the founder/developers have information about themselves? Access to their linkedin profiles? Are they using alot of gimmicky words or you cant understand what the point of the project is? (wings)
4. Is the idea reasonably unique?
I find number the 2 and 4 to be the best predictors of whether a small cap coin will be successful or not. The community and idea behind the coin is extremely important.
Keep money in long term coins, that you hold for the long haul or until things change. And use smaller amounts to make bets on coins that can give you a poteinal for 10xLast edited by johnnycash123; 06-21-2017 at 06:26 AM.

Not sure why everyone keeps negging me for ousting TheReverend. It is easy to look like a genius in a bull market.
Sometimes, the truth is unpleasant. Would you rather unpleasant truths or pleasant lies?
Think about what you are investing in. You are investing in blockchain technology. By its very nature, it is disruptive. It disrupts the status quo, because sometimes, the status quo is wrong and it is mad to blindly follow. I've disrupted the last thread, but here we are now, with a new and better thread.
Furthermore, you have a much better advisor: CryptoBandit.
You want a crypto guru? Follow CryptoBandit.
In particular, pay attention to post #48. I won't mention it again. Two of his picks I have already mentioned in the other thread.
You want to make money? Follow his posts.

His info is solid, and i pretty much agree with all his main holdings...
Except for NEM, I wont be putting money into that until maybe mid July. Opportunity cost of investing in that is too high currently when Catapult wont be released until who knows, and the team are a bunch of closet nerds who like dragons, swords, transformers and lightning which they use in there advertising. They need to step up their marketing, will a bank take them serious if they see their picture containing all this rubbish?

Question about the ANS web wallet... do I have to create a new back up file every time I add ANS?
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

So.. you talked down on TheReverend because he was providing his own opinions on a public forum and some people chose to put some cash into those coins based on his opinions and the info he provided.
Then, you post this ^^ which is basically pushing Cryptobandit and saying that his opinions and the info he's providing is the end all, be all. (nothing against Cryptobandit, seems like he provides some great info as well)
If anything, what you're doing is much worse than what you accused TheReverend of doing. He just provided his opinions as far as I can tell. You're basically shilling Cryptobandit and all the coins he's providing his own opinions on.
It's okay to have more than one person provide their opinions; if anything, more knowledge from differing perspectives (i.e. disruption) is always better. Let them both speak/advise/profit as they see fit. We're all adults here, capable of making our own decisions based on the info we have. The more informed we are, the better.▇ ▅ █ ▅ ▇ ▂ ▃ ▁ ▁ ▅ ▃ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▇

****'s addictive but exhausting when you keep up day to day.
When I bought Bitcoin in 2014 I literally bought it and forgot about it for 3 years then woke up to see it was $3500 CDN. das it mane. Lately with ETH I've been more active in researching crypto and Ethereum technologies which leads to more speculation - then thinking I should dabble in some other coins. But life is stressful enough dunno if I need more chit to have to check on tbh.★ Canadian Crew ★

Icnx is the iconomi run index fund which you will be able to buy in to once the platform is released
They will use profits from the platform to buy back ICN tokens and burn them, this creates buying pressure and reduces the coin supply so ICN value should increase over time☆☆☆ UK Crew ☆☆☆

"losing money on these fuks"
Just ****ing lol
Start using your brain and stop blindly following posts strangers make on the internet. Do your research and think for your own ffs
The amount of BS in this threads is astonishing anyway, so adding one ****poster more or less shouldn't be a problem.
And inb4 you start hating, in the past few days about 5 people literally wrote "i've been reading bout crypto for 3 days, YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS ONE SECRET ULTRA COIN CAUSE ITS GOING TO THE MOOOOOOOON !!1ONE1"
That's surely a reason why really good posters who actually have a glue whats going on (e.g. Luc1fer) stopped replying to this threads...
Just lol at relying on forum posts for investing your money."A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
