lilheathenmmaI am facing a true champion at #UFC205.... #FrankieEdgar, one of the toughest and best fighters right now at 145 AND 155.
Unlike some guys not worth mentioning- Edgar has never given up or let anyone break him. I'm ready to bring out the best on the iconic night at #MadisonSquareGarden, in Edgar's #NYC backyard. I don't care about **** other than fighting Edgar at #MSG, a REAL champion and true #savage.
See you all in 6 weeks- when #Edgar and I put on the main event of true fighters without all the fake ****.

People list Eddie at 5'9 but I think he's more like 5'7-5'8. But I don't think Conor has fought anybody like Eddie. While it is possible that Conor could put him to sleep Eddie is built like a fking tank and while he doesn't have the sharpest boxing (it looked decent vs RDA) he still has a lot of power and a granite chin. He's a wider and a stronger body than Nate Diaz.

UFC doubling down on their cash cow giving him all sorts of undeserved fight and pissing off all their other fighters, lulz.
UFC is a dumpster fire so I don't really waste my time on it anymore, I'm hoping Eddie brutalizes him*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

If he cant out box conor he can always just do what he did to pettis. I wonder if conors foot is still messed up from his last fight, surprised hes going for such a big fight so soon. With this supposed upcoming annoucement after 205 do you think mcgregor is just going for 1 more big payday win or lose and peacing out to something else like maybe a movie deal?

Such a hard fight for me to call.
Conor looks bigger, hits harder and has reach advantage. Also seems to have the emotional advantage so far.
Eddie can wrestle fuk him...
How's it gonna go down boyos?
I think if Conor doesn't knock him down within the first 2 rounds it's not gonna look too good for him. And he must stay off his back.Misc Hunting and Fishing crew

True but against Max Holloway where it went decision his gas tank was alright granted it was 145lb and he just fought at 170lb against Nate and needs to come down to 155lb effectively in the amount of time allotted.
He has been shown to be disciplined with his weight cut doing what needs to be done so hopefully his cardio will be back to tip top shape.
Would like Eddie to win this fight.https://bandcamp.com/singularity7 - Music collection. Recommend albums. Always looking for more.

I'm putting $25 on Eddie. You see what Mendes did to Conor? Most people feel Mendes was nearly at the finish line, and was closer than any other opponent (besides Diaz). Now just imagine someone similar to Mendes EXCEPT, this person has a FULL training camp, has better conditioning, bigger reach advantage than Mendes, boxing skills, tougher jaw, and is a champ in one weight division heavier. I've watched Eddies past fights, and have been studying him. I have a very strong feeling Eddie will toss McGregor around like he's nothing.
I like Conor, don't get me wrong he's awesome, and brings major entertainment, and is a good fighter, but just comparing the two from a non bias standpoint, it's heavily favored toward Alvarez. If Mcgregor wins him though, he's basically skipped a HUGEEEEEE line of competition (possibly deserved), and just took like 20 steps forward in his legacy, and could arguably go down as one of MMA's goats, if he were to also get a win or two in the featherweight division , and another few wins in the light weight category whilst being undefeated.Last edited by sebackers; 10-06-2016 at 04:06 AM.

Conor has better shot selection and accuracy. Eddie can't do that darting straight. He will get countered hard. I expect Eddie to get dropped in this fight at least once. He'll have to mix up body kicks w/ wrestling and clinch engagements. Unless he gets lucky like he did against RDA, he can't trade shots with Conor. He's the inferior striker.
