Bruins HFBoards can be so intolerable in the off-season. All the threads like development camp and the Vesey watch that you want to know updates on, it's all the same people circle jerking each other about how they know each other in real life. Constantly, every day.

That said, I'd hang out with a lot of regulars in here IRL.

The best is the team defenders.
Offseason moves suck - LET'S JUST WAIT UNTIL WE'RE CLOSER TO THE SEASON TO JUDGE WHAT THE ROSTER LOOKS LIKE
Team sucks at the beginning of the year - LET'S JUST GIVE IT AT LEAST A MONTH OR SO SO THERE'S A DECENT SAMPLE SIZE
Team sucks still at Christmas - THE YEAR ISN'T EVEN HALF OVER YET, THERE'S STILL A TON OF HOCKEY LEFT TO PLAY
Team sucks at the All Star break - STILL MONTHS LEFT TO PLAY, EVERY TEAM GOES THROUGH SLUMPS
Team sucks at the trade deadline - THEY'RE IN THE HUNT, THEY'RE NOT GOING TO JUST BE SELLERS. WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE WOULD THAT SEND TO THE FANS????
Team misses the playoffs - THEY WERE CLOSE, A PUCK HERE, A PUCK THERE, AND THEY'RE IN. LET'S SEE WHAT THEY DO IN THE OFFSEASON.
Also, LOVE the "they shouldn't be sellers" or "shouldn't trade this guy because he's too important", then that guy who "is too important" is clearly too old and done and it's "WELL NOW NOBODY IS GOING TO GIVE US ANYTHING FOR HIM SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST KEEP HIM". I swear it's a board full of Chiarellis. They are the WORST.

It is always good for Stars of having this kind of brilliant players on their side. A 5th round pick by Dallas in the 2007 NHL draft, this player scores 192 goals and have 448 points in just 508 games while playing in 7 seasons with the Stars. Clearly, any team wants to see this kind of player in their squads.

I'm just going to go through a quick run through of Canadian teams since I haven't been here in a while
Oilers = lucky flip trash
Habs = straight trash. Light that **** on fire trash.
Canucks = trash on a higher pile of trash that costs too much
Flames = Somehow digging out of the trash
Sens = Takes Everyone elses trash for extra trash on top
Jets = Best developed trash with good top soil
Leafs = Not trash, except for its lower layers of straight trashLast edited by Mac_xX; 07-23-2016 at 09:50 AM.

I'm just trying to get updates in the Vesey thread and Development Camp thread. Granted we won't hear anything about Vesey, but that Haggs interview he did sounded promising and there are some legitimate insiders that post on the rare occasion. Instead, I get to see the regulars circle jerking each other around about " *first name of user* said you'd LOVE this kid at development camp"
Hearing rumblings that Dallas is in on Spezza? Any truth to this? Dallas making moves with Seguin and now this if true.

That place is insufferable sometimes. I would say there are posters who have been on that board since the creation of the forum and many of them are regular attendees at the games or season ticket holders and most have met one another, it's kind of creepy how they talk to each other by name all the time. I usually visit just for the guys that post about trades, rumors and prospects and occasionally go there to laugh at the GDT's.

you havent seen a real GDT until you visit the Sharks board... holy fuk do they have some hnnnnnnngggggg photoshop skills
Also i like the Schenn deal for the Flyers. Scored 59 points in 80 games last year, thats first line wing production right there, If he keeps that up its a great deal. Even if he drops to 50 points a year, id still say thats market value for a guy with his talent at that ageKeep mod discussions out of your sig line
