Netflix....TV series offerings.

Just finished the two seasons of Peaky Blinders which is a Netflix original series. So far it's very good. Looking forward to more seasons.

Just thought I'd throw this out for anyone that may be interested.

While checking online news I saw this link regarding what TV series/shows are going to be renewed for the 2015 season.
There's (86) of them so that should cover a diversity of viewing interests.
NetFlix interest for me currently is Arrow, Blacklist and my better half will like that Beauty & The Beast is renewed....I'm not so enamored with it.

The ones I may check out are:
Grimm?
Legends?
Scorpion?
Flash?...I've read not so great reviews of this one but I'd listen to comments here.
Librarians?....I'd like to think this one may have some probationary interest potential but I get the impression the intrigue would be too simplistic with silly dialogue.
(But...I've been wrong in the past)

you're a former jarhead... there's no way in hell you won't get into "Vikings" if they offer it. not based on what a writer created in his head like 99% of the crap you see on TV...based on how it actually was

I'll await Vikings and give it a view.
I think I've read somewhere it was pretty good.

Never got into Sons of Anarchy.
Yes...I think Daredevil was above average entertainment so we'll see if it measures up for subsequent seasons.
I guess there will always be a couple of shows I liked but will get cancelled anyway after a couple seasons, to my dismay (IE: Dresden Files )

Until SOA came out I never followed a television series from start to finish. I thought this was a fantastic show. Since I've watched probably a dozen series from start to finish on Netflix. I'm a bit of a binge TV watcher now.

Didn't read the first 4 pages, but Longmire is a good Western/Cop show. Netflix bought the rights to it, so they're now producing the new seasons.

Just yesterday noticed that season 2 of Black List is up and running and we look forward to getting caught up.
I actually get the feeling it's been there for some days but I just noticed it.
Obviously....not the brightest bulb is doing the typing here.

We starting watching S2 of Black List...episode 6 is in queue.
I like the show due to acceptable acting, characters and a fast pace of intrigue and twists.

Was scrolling around for something to watch and watched part I last night. Its crazy through and through. Pretty much the best porn story I've seen so far with a loose plot that kind of makes sense. Will watch part II tonight.

I've switched to a more cozy mood lately and started binge watching Call the Midwife and Ms. Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

Not bad for those into Downton Abbey style show.

Currently watching Bloodline. It's a bit slow for me, but it's growing on me.

Marie, have you seen Les Témoins (Witnesses)? It's a French police show (it has English subtitles). Quite suspenseful. It's filmed on the far north coast of France and the scenery is quite pretty. The lead actress, Marie Dompnier, was really good.

We also saw Life on Mars with Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli. I really enjoyed it. A cop from 2009 is in an accident and wakes up as a cop in 1973. Lots of funny lines.

Snoresville....far too slow and boring.
I do think Selleck is an adequate actor in his later years but even the Jesse Stone series (just a few IIRC) kept my attention a better than BL.

Yes, Bloodline is soap-opera-ish, with a some drug dealing thrown in.

You might like Witnesses too. There are English subtitles. Somebody is digging up bodies from cemeteries and placing them in the model homes of new residential subdivisions. Macabre, but great acting and lovely scenery.

Harvey Keitel wears these awesome white loafers in Life on Mars. Michael Imperioli gets all the funny lines. Good show!

After getting hooked on Longmire, I started getting into shows set in the south.

I'm really having fun with Hart of Dixie. Super sweet, nothing truly bad ever happens. Kind of what I need right now

We watched the whole thing. I was interested to learn that even though the keys seem like paradise, there's a couple hours a day when they have to shut everything down for biting insect swarms. I heard that on NPR when they were interviewing the producers.

We started Making of a murderer last night. Documentary story of a man wrongfully accused of rape and spent 18 years in prison. Getting great reviews. So far after the first episode we're in for more.
