I'll give you guys another 24 hours to argue about the following.

Should QB Passing TD's be worth 6 points instead of 4?
Would you like to see more points for Rushing/Passing yardage? (Would you like to see it at 20 yards per point instead of 25 or even 10 yards per point etc)
Do you want a separate Special Teams or are you ok with one team representing your Defense and ST?

I personally think this is the best scoring a league can have, it's a great balance of points but doesn't really sway from the normalcy of the game.

I don't like the field goal rules.

Everything else seems to be exactly the same except the things I asked you guys to discuss. (QB Passing TDs, 10 Yards per Rec/Rush)

I like the 1 point per 10 yards (or 0.1 / yard) for Rec/Ru ...

I actually like the FG rules too...adds a little dimension to the K position imo,

and at QB...I'm cool with 4 or 6pts passing TDs either way.

My vote is for 6 all around. 10 points pass/rush. FG rules I'm not exactly keen on, but I won't argue against it.

I like the fg points because it adds another element to the draft, do you go kicker a little early to get a good one or not. Also you can have some fun **** talking when someone's kicker is the highest scoring player on their team. Lol,

...is the consideration to not have FG Kickers? Never played without them before.

IIRC, I thought it was -3 for missed FG on the site. Don't think I've played in a league where you lose points for a missed FG. Not a big deal to me.

Yea that chart is just -1 for a missed fg/xp. And I'm guessing most people just play with fg all being the same regardless of distance. I think it's kind of cool to reward kickers, they do play a big part of a game at times. I remember last yr I streamed kickers and Scobee from jax got me like 21 pts one game because he hit like 5 fg and 3 were from 50+. Just think its fun to have that little extra scoring, but I won't object to the majority decision.

Every other draft I've done has been live, so we make the draft order at the draft. Knowing my draft position so far in advance really sucks - I keep talking myself into and out of drafting players. Come on Sunday!

in for my valuable input.

I like the scoring that was posted up in that screenshot - don't like the negative points for missed field goals unless you can keep it to fieldgoals of 30 or below. If guys are playing in sh*tty conditions or coaches have them kick 55+ yard field goals at the end of a half or something I'd hate to get penalized for something that's rarely done.

I like 6 points for any TD, 1pt for 25 passing yards and 1pt for 10 rushing/receiving yards seems good to me.

Ok this is how field goals will be.

1.0 bonus point(s) each 5 additional yards in length, starting with 46 yard scores so you get 3 points for sub-45 yard field goals but you get 4 for 50 yarders and anything over 51 yards you'll get 6.

3.0 point(s) deducted for 1 to 30 yard(s).
2.0 point(s) deducted for 31 to 39 yard(s).

I don't want to penalize for missing huge long-shot field goals but I will penalize harshly for kickers that miss on chip-shots.

Damn 3 points deducted for a fg, those are def gonna lose games for people. What about the other scoring, what have you decided? 6 pts all TD's?

I like it... makes K spot not so pointless.

Only if you miss a field goal under 30 yards which is basically an extra point. Cmon man how often does that happen?

Waiting til tonight for people to chime in on QB pass TD scoring and Yds:Pts ratio.

QBs get penalized for throwing interceptions, RBs penalized for fumbles, it only makes sense FG Kickers get penalized for missing FGs.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm all for having points deducted for missed fg's, 3 just seems a little excessive. Most leagues I'm in it's just 1 pt deducted, but 3 works, just got to make sure I get Akers in the 3rd. Lol

I like 1 pt for 25 passing yards. 1 pt for every 10 receiving/rushing yards.

indifferent on FG, but I realllllllllllllly hate 1 pt for 25 rushing/receiving yards.

brb rushing for 150 yards, 2 fumbles = 2 points.....not good.

I vote to keep the leauge as close as possible to standard scoring and to only add the minor tweaks such as the .5 Ppr and the FG scoring.

?

6 per TD is pretty standard. Making it a 4 and you have RG3 being rated over Matt Stafford suddenly.

It levels out tho. It's all respective per position and part of good drafting - you have to figure out if it's worth getting an elite QB or elite RB and figuring out where you can afford more of a drop off.

A TD by Aaron Rodgers is worth the same as a TD by Kevin Kolb.

My point was, that in a 1/25 passing, 1/10 rec/rush, and 6 td's for all last year.... top WR was 265 pts, top RB 297, and the top 10 QB's had more than that, with 5 over 400. 4 TD's/pass helps to even that out. Just explaining the reason for 4 per td
