I think an earthquake would totally freak me out. I have never experienced one. I have been NEAR where tornados were but never been in one either. That would be disturbing also.

Yeah it was freaky. I've never experienced one. Tornadoes are nothing here but earthquakes are rare. The medicine I'm on for my migraines gives me CRAZY dreams and I thought I was dreaming, lol.

Never been in an earthquake either...been really close to tornadoes, but I've been through several hurricanes.

What is everyone's thoughts on the Stair Master? Which is better...the stair master, treadmill, or eliptical? I did an hour on the Stair Master last night and HOLY SHIOT. I have never sweat so much in my entire life.

That there is a stepmill. Probably the best cardio machine out there for gettin the HR up.

BTW...you wonder shy your butt is shrinking...that is why. Time to start eating more and squatting heavy

What about Floyd in 99? or Fran a few years before that? Our house got flattened by Andrew in 93 when I lived in southern Florida. There are many many more too, most of which I've forgotten...heh

That, my dear, is the stepmill. Best cardio machine EVER. Second would be the stairmaster. But only if you make it challenging. If you're on there at level 3, get the phuck off cause you're not doing anything. Try to stay at least around level 8, without supporting yourself with your arms.

I used it when I dieted down in the summer. I loved it since I only needed 20 minutes to be completely drenched. I won't ever use the elliptical or tread for cardio anymore except to warm up.

x2 except for the shrinking butt. She just needs to eat more, do some SLDLs, some lunges...the stairmaster is actually really great for the glutes. Especially if you take really big steps.

Those weren't as bad in my area growing up. Huge was the one that b-lined right for us. I was 4 year old. I remember waking my parents up and going downstairs into the bathroom for the whole night. Occasionally our front door would blow open and you could see transformers blowing up everywhere. It was really scary. We didn't have power for about a week, and I remember standing in line to get some water with my grandmother. We lost our boat to Hugo and had a lot of damage to our new house being built. My grandparents had several trees land on their house.

An hour on that would make me pass out. I do 30 minutes tops. I have stayed away from it on my current program though
