Could you take some slightly closer-up shots? It's tough to really make head nor tail of them when the image is so blurry and the shoes are so far away.

It's a Nikon D40 but the secret is the lens. Super-Takumar 50mm f1.4 lens with an M42 adapter to mount on the camera. That lens is ultra sharp and those pictures are just with the aperture set at 5.6, when I set it at 16 for an outdoor shot it seems like the sharpness is more than my camera can even capture. Even at 5.6 it still captures the individual threads in the silver part of the shoe that says Ironwork III perfectly.

    Attention Las Vegas-ians,

Are there any stores in Vegas that offer weightlifting shoes? I'm headed out there this weekend, and I wanted to grab some while I'm there.

No, weightlifting shoes are not sold in stores in this country. You'll have to order them online. Look at the very first post in this thread for links to websites that carry the different brands.

    HOLY ****!!!

Damn, I have the old style white ones and I'd love to try something with a shorter heel...not that I'm particularly bothered by the height of mine.

Question: I have the Pendlay Do-Wins, size 11. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now, but I'm thinking about exchanging them for a smaller size. I didn't think it'd be an issue, because they fit pretty nicely and aren't too loose, but they're not as snug as I'd like them to be -- there's a gap of exactly 1" from the top of my big toe to the front of the shoe. Would I be better off with a size 10.5, or should I drop down even further to a 10?

Yeah, you want a snug fit.

Any suggestion on whether to get 10.5 vs 10, given the 1" gap in the 11?

You should really contact the manufacturer if you want a legitimate answer on that.

I've contacted Adidas but haven't heard back from them yet - maybe someone here can direct me? I normally wear New Balance because I have wide feet, and a collapsable arch (when I step down, my arch disappears.)

    My size: 9-9.5
    Width: 2E

Anyone know of any specific shoes that would fit my width? I can't wear shoes with a built-in arch into the side (like Nike's). I need something with a wide toe-box. Any ideas?

The Do-Win Rogues are relatively wide. I have wide feet and am very comfortable in them. The custom Risto shoes mentioned above are said to be available in wide variety of widths.

Well you would definitely hate the Adidas then, they are a very narrow shoe. The rogues are pretty wide. though.

x3 on the Do Win Rogues. I have a wide forefoot and they still have plenty of room. Don't be scared of the brand because you haven't heard of it before (I was a little), they're great shoes.
