I got the Rogue Do-wins from http://RogueFitness.com last friday!
I contacted them 1st prior to buying and after receiving the product and it was great talking to them.
Definitely have to get the Rogue Do-wins at US 1/2" smaller than your normal size.
There was surprisingly some room at the toe of your foot and called them about it.
They stated it is actually a feature of the shoe to make it more comfortable while wearing them.
I was iffy at 1st but when I did my workout they actually felt PERFECT!
Only issue I see which is minor are the following:
Laces are crazy Long! Easily fixed by either cutting it or getting shorter laces.
Tarsal Straps are about 1/2-1" too long. Not a big deal just a cosmetic issue.
Do I notice a difference wearing this shoes as oppose to my running shoes?
Hell yeah!
I think these shoes do help in lifting.
I had to change my cardio Post-workout from using the Treadmill to using the Elliptical machine instead.
This is so I don't have to change back to my running shoes.
The Rogue's feel fine when using them with the Elliptical but I can see how they are no fun on treadmills or any running exercises.
Bet they will fine cycling as well.Last edited by Kilim; 08-18-2008 at 04:17 PM.

do any stores sell them or only online? i would prefer to buy them in a store so i can try them on. I tried on a pair of chuck taylor 11.5 and they fit nicely, but my basketball shoes (nike) are 12.5. so if i were to buy online, do you think i should get a 12 or 11.5?
also, you feel more stable squating and lifting with weightlifitng shoes compared to others, and would they get ruined if i walk outside with them? i need to walk like a block or 2 to get the gymLast edited by njman; 08-18-2008 at 01:35 PM.

I don't know of any big box stores that sell weightlifting shoes. Typically you would size 1/2 - 1 full size down from your sneaker size. I'd say prolly 10.5 for you. Calling the retailer and discussing your sizing is the best way to go about it.

To any of the guys who've ordered the Nike Romaleos - what size did you order?
I nomally wear a size 10 for my Nike Frees and 9.5 for Nike Shox so I'm not too sure what size to go with.
Its tough to say what size to go with because I have a friend who has a pair of the 2004 Adidstars in 9.5 and they fit perfectly in terms of foot length, though they are a little narrow. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thx

there sick, uhm if you wanna get the right size just go to a local shoe store(finishline or some ****) and try on some nikes, get a snugg fit and thats the size to order.
but i also got a question, the romaleos come with 2 differnt sock liners. competition and trainings, do you guys who already have them think it mattersage:16

quality weightlifting shoe from nike. got them yesterday and tried them out today. very solid, provides good support, and is well balanced. wasnt expecting much out of nike since its their first weightlifting shoe, but i have to say A+
and the competition liners are a lot more solid, while the training have more cushion for everyday workouts.

my Romaleos came in today as well. only had a chance to wear them around the house so far, but they feel great. i stick to the floor when i bend like i'm glued to it. the construction appears to be top notch. guess we'll see in a couple months.
i wear a 11.5 nike sb, but ordered these in an 11 and they fit like a glove. they look realllllly nice in the white. thanks for the 20% off coupon and free shipping whomever posted it.

i wear a size 8 for all my nikes, so i just went ahead and ordered size 8. it fits pretty snug, but a half size smaller wouldnt hurt. and here are some pics i took. hopefully they can help some people out.
competition insole has a hard plastic layer on the bottom for more support
