Anyone ever do 10 reps for Front Squat? I like doing them, but have to say, they are incredibly tiring, more so than a set of 10 for Back squats. I know people say "We don't do high reps in Front Squat because it taxes the back more than legs" which is true, it does, but I don't know why that's a reason to then not do it. Get a strong back.

Well my PR front squat is only 290 lbs lol... so I'm thinking maybe experimenting with 10s between 185-205 lbs, but glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this would be a good help for that problem. During my PM session today, I really focused on staying back in my heels on the clean and keeping my back tight and I am seeing some improvement already, so I'm thinking high-rep FS should really kick that into high gear.
Anyway, I posted this on Pendlay forum earlier today and got ZERO legitimate feedback thus far... please forgive the first two Snatches - my gf had a horrible angle for lighting. I left in two misses at one of the higher weights I Snatched that day, so that you guys could see how I've been missing most of my reps (trust me, all of my misses are virtually identical - working on that bar path)

I did 12 reps with 92.5kg for a front squat contest in the over-35 section. It was really tough, and sucked hard. I'll be trying to beat that this week, though!! A couple people there did some incredible work, a gal with 137.5lbs for 20 reps FS, saw a 15 rep at 225lbs, too!! Very solid work for us old(er) guys!!

If I get rid of the four fingers I don't need in order to hook grip, cut my hair, donate a kidney, take a laxitive, water load, blow my nose, cut my finger nails, clean my ears, and empty the air out of my lungs when I step on the scale I probably won't even need to change my diet.
