Got to try some steel case in the ar today. No feed or extraction issues tossing them in the mix before and after brass but 2 ftfs despite healthy primer strikes. Ammo related no doubt. 4 dollars a box no harm no foul

Brb my ak still has not shipped. They printed out a label for it yesterday but it hasnt been sent to the the sorting facility. At work if we process orders it has to be picked up that day. Idk wtf going. Looks like friend and I are pushing shooting back a week now as he might buy a new rifle this week. Sigh
meanwhile my sg order was processed and shipped in same day.

Yes. Well, kinda. I have an Aimpoint PRO. Same principles will apply. My contacts are -4.50 and -5.00. Yeah...eyesight not so great.
My Aimpoint's dot is not clear/crisp/perfectly round in my eyes. Sometimes it looks like a comet, sometimes it looks like a poorly drawn squiggly star, sometimes it looks like a dot. I've had others look through it (and take pictures) and it's not the dot, it's my eyes. I just saw my eye doc last week. She says my astigmatism (already knew I had it) isn't bad enough to be why. She said something about high order abberations being a likely culprit. For closer range/faster shooting it isn't enough to matter, and when shooting for groups at 25 yards (have only shot at my local indoor range so far) it works well enough. It is most noticeable indoors with a white wall as the background.
Flipping the rear site up (absolute co-witness setup) and looking at the dot through the rear aperture always makes it look nearly perfect, though. And as I said, for the real use of a defensive carbine with a red dot, and the real advantage (speed) it doesn't actually make a difference.
Just another reason I really want to get my hands on a damn TR24G

i have the aimpoint pro as well and its a non-issue, i think i notice it more on the eotech because of the circle around the dot. It looks pixelated and that draws my attention which I have trouble not looking at so I'll just have to train myself not do to that i guess. If I look at the target it clears up considerably but if I look at the reticle it gets fuzzier.

That is a good point I forgot to mention. A lot of people say that focusing on the dot makes it worse. A RDS is intended to be used with both eyes open looking at the target with the dot super imposed over it, but if you are used to focusing on the front site (pistol shooting is all about front site FRONT SITE FRONT SITE) then doing that with the dot can make things more irritating

Meanwhile, at a New Jersey shooting range...
Near, far, wherever you are...
...I believe that the heart does go on.
Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

So I get a call on my way to work this morning, drive by shooting and a man's been shot on my culdesac (only 7 houses on my culdesac) and then my phone just won't quit blowing up for half an hour. Last week my next door neighbor robbed a bank and shot himself and his family is PO'd at his girlfriend or something so it doesn't seem too far fetched for shenanigans to be going on. I finally get my stupid teenager to wake the fuk up and answer his phone, he peaks outside and nothing going on. Typical news media got the damn street name mixed up.

Media calls everything a drive by, even if the dude has to jog half a mile to get back to his car after hiding in a closet two weeks and stealthily strangling someone in their sleep.
Yeah anybody who does what he did is a dumbass, but me thinks it was more of an attention thing because he was fighting with his girlfriend (also my neighbor, they lived together). That makes a dead neighbor on either side of our house and one across from us is in prison for robbing an armored car/ATM stocker guy. No wonder I can't find any fishing buddies.
