Muzzie
We guys like some meat on our Women! (makes caveman sounds)
Now bit more serious. I just went over the data of the DEC1-FEB Spreadsheet and you lost 1,5lbs each week on average for a total of 19pounds in 12 weeks. That is damn good specially considering you weren't really fat to begin with. Also not sure why on the 130lbs goal, I had to convert that to Kg so i have a slight idea what 130lbs actually are. Seems very skinny for your height. I know most women want to be skinny but since you lifting you might have gained some lean mass in the process. Making the weight goal harder, but you should look diferent in the mirror.
Before i did lifting i felt fat at 75kgs and ok at 70kgs, now my normal weight is 75 and I look way better than with the old 75 or 70 for that matter.
To be honest I can't tell whats your case because the only picture i got is of an arm and a blue shirt.
I am not trying to attack you or hating on your goals, just trying to give you a different type of perspecive that might or might not apply to you. It is up to you to see.
One of the reasons I incorporated the avarage function in the spread sheets was that a lot of people (including me) got desmotivated/upset/whatever in the later weeks because they werent losing or hitting barriers, but when you look at your average you get a better long term trend perspective. Well, enough of nerdy spreadsheet talk. http://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/c...YN3EwU0E#gid=0 last 3 month sheet if you want to check.
Really worried about your nail and hair thing muzzie, so take care dear.

Good morning everyone!
Weigh in day for me and I honestly have no idea what to expect when I get there. The scale has been all over the place this week and I don't know why.
But....I will continue the course and move on. Still hoping for a good number.
Grocery shopping on the agenda today. Boo I hate it but I love when it's done.
We didn't even make the menu up yesterday. UGH...have to do that this morning before we go.
Ok...I'll be back later with report.

Weigh in from yesterday....
135kg (297.4 lbs) / Loss of 0.7kg (1.5 lbs)
This is not what I'm looking for at all, especially at my size. going to start a log for some kind of accountability.
For anyone who used to eat a lot of sweets - do the sugar cravings go away after a while? I just cant get over it at the moment. Every day I would eat say, a packet of chocolate biscuits after lunch and then a 200g bar of chocolate after dinner. Thing is, now that I've changed my diet I do feel full after food BUT completely unsatisfied unless I'm shovelling sweets into my face. Does anyone else have this kind of feeling?

WANT!!!
But i made some nice 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter cookies (PB, Splenda (yes I use splenda, no I dont believe the BS about it), Egg Beaters...bake for 12 minutes at 350). They are only like 86 cal per cookie...very yummy.
I found the recipe on Buzzfeed, it was called 33 Genius Three-Ingredient Recipes...some good ones that can be altered for low cal.Last edited by tonyflo04; 03-25-2014 at 04:48 AM.

Good morning guys and gals! I don't know but this past few days I have been sleeping nice deep sleeps. Woke up finding that I was dreaming lol about bodybuilding as well cant really recall what was in the dream but for sure was about bodybuilding.
Anyway last night while I started taking a shower and having lathered myself with soap the water started to turn cold. Was evil trick by god! Lol. Was in panic mode frenzy trying to scrub the soap off myself and get out as quickly as I can.
Was on of those nonononononooooooo moments in the shower lol. Water is still cold in the morning. Wanted to at least rinse my face with hot water. T_T I can't wait for spring and summer to truly be here! THat way I wouldnt mind a cold shower once in a while lol.
Also on good note yesterday I worked on some calisthenics for 20 min taking hardly any rests between each set since didn't go to the GYM because my leg and back werent feeling the best. I have to admit I was really amaze at how far I have come with push ups. I did 20 good solid repititions of push-up with pauses going down and up. Gaving my muscle nice good contraction.
Looks delicious! Did you use one of DHFTNS's recipes? Which one!? Ugh I want to make one for breakfast now and coat it with protein fluff!!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
I am sure it will tell you good things! As long as you have been in a caloric deficit the weight that the scale tells you is insignificant. The amount of a deficit you create is what counts! 3,500 calories is one pound of fat. If you reach that by end of the week you will lose it and you will look 1 lb less in 1-2 weeks!
I want to go shopping today as well! I been lurking in the protein nutrition section. Alot of goodies that can be made! Just low or don't have certain ingredients.
I hope thats sugar free sweets, or you will just end up sabotaging yourself. There are alot of great meals and stuff that help with sweet tooth. You should take time to check out some of the stuff in the nutrition section of the forum. They have alot of recipes.
Just curious do you have artificial sweetner? You could use that to help make things sweeter instead of using real sugar. You can purchase sugar free food like sugar free jello and make an entire batch and it comes to like 40 calories. You can purchase Hershey sugar free dark cocoa and add it on cereals or oatmeal with sweetners. Just takes a little bit of thinking to find replacement for real thing. Also if you really like chocolate syrup you might be interested in checking out Walden Farm 0 calorie chocolate syrup and chocolate dip.Strive to be the better self that one could possibly be.

Absolutely agree, but of course its easier to say then to do. I'm going to be using MFP and have currently planned my meals for the next 2 weeks.
I wish they were sugar free, alas no. I actually eat the sugar free jelly (jello) and I've been looking into the walden farms products since mentioned earlier in this thread . again, its not about feeling hungry, its a void i need to fill - I'm starting from rock bottom so I need to change everything.

If you use the base recipe by cumminslifter you use 20grams of Optimum Nutrition Casein (w.e flavor you like and is pretty much the sole calorie adder in this recipe), 10 oz. diet soda, and 5-6g Xanthan gum then mix with mixer/stand mixer for 12-15min. Makes a large bowl of fluff. A LARGE BOWL. Really filling.
There are other variations you can use skim milk/ almond, add dark cocoa for richer chocolate taste though yeah just got to be sure to add up the calories. It is really filling, which is why I love it.Strive to be the better self that one could possibly be.

OK, 6.5 hours working in the garden, 4 of which on the tiller, got to love spring time cardio. Hit the gym last night, worked the upper body, talk about supersets, bench presses/pec fly/ tiller, my shoulders and chest are SORE!!!!! On a funny note, the wife came out to check on me, OK, on what I was doing. She walked up, took a look at the new 1 ac garden spot, said WTH, and a OK, with THE LOOK....and walked off....LMAO!!!!!

Mmm not really. THough I understand what you mean. If you can get your hands on diet cream soda you won't really notice any soda taste because it just blends in really well with the powder. One flavor I liked also was adding diet lemon lime. Gave it an interesting taste. THough hey call me weird but I enjoy weird stuff, and I enjoy eating vegies so my taste buds might be way different then yours. Though one thing for sure fluff fills you up like no other food with low calories. I made my brother some blueberry fluff and he only ate 1/4th of a bowl..... and he isn't even cutting and he usually pigs out on yummy stuff. He said he just couldn't finish it even though it was delicious and he even added chocolate syrup ( normal choclate syrup with its high calorie count).
Strive to be the better self that one could possibly be.

Zomg, rock on.
You're such a nice dude. Thanks. I agree with you, I smashed it last challenge. And I'm super proud of myself. It's not just about getting skinny, it's about reaching my goals to prove to myself that I can get there. I've never been this dedicated at anything. Ever. You have to remember, I come from an obese place (278 lbs), to now being at around 141 lbs. Do I feel accomplished? Hell yea. Do I know I can do more? Yea.
And not to worry about my curves, I plan to cut to about 130 then bulk back up to 140 in a slooooooooow, healthy manner.
Thanks Igglesphan. As for macros, here are the last 5 days of my food log. My LBM according to IIFYM and the horribly inaccurate BF% on the handheld caliper is 113 lbs.
Macros at a glance are: 45 g-ish fat, 50-70 g carbs, 90-110 g protein
This log is the best example of where I like to hover in terms of macros:

So anyone have any suggestions on something natural that can be taken to help aid in sleep? 11 hrs sleep in 3 days. I'm crashing today hard and I think another reason I am holding onto weight.Starting Date: 03/01/2016

Also heared about melatonin.
Regarding meditation, well i am sleep deprived since young age, like since I am 10 or 12, cant really remember. During one phase of my live i did a lot of meditation, like an hour each day. It kept me even more awake, but filled with energy. Was a very strange period of my live, dont want to go into details. But a lot of people do a short meditation before bed time and it helps them.
