I just have my small Olight for my jacket.

You using eneloops for those that can take them? I got my Nitecore charger and it works great on my old 18650 batteries.

Haven't had a need to (yet). We came across a big sale at Costco one day and bought 4 packages of AA lithiums so I am set for a while.

I use the AA's in my external camera flashes and really put them through hell and they perform well.

Got my Paramilitary 2 yesterday.

I dont know how I feel about it yet. It's much, much bigger than I anticipated. The weight isn't an issue, but it just sits very big in the pocket and that handle is so damn long for my size hands. I'll either flip it in a week or two or trade it most likely.

Plus, the finish is a bit rough. The edges on the handles are too sharp and kind of "bite" into your fingers if you run them along the edges.

Never had this problem with ANY Taiwan Spydercos, but the PM2 is made in America.

The handle looks about 5/8" longer than the blade when closed.

G10, yes. Good material too, nice and grippy.

I had always wanted a PM or PM2 as well and then once i had one in my hand i was like yuck. Way too big for me and if its going to be that big i want it to feel solid and the PM2 was just too light. Also didnt like the lock on the back end of it. Oh well, still in love with my Manix 2 <3

thats a pretty gentle recurve, it shouldnt be too hard but I guess it depends on how you sharpen also. Doing touch ups on a 3" strop will probably keep that thing sharp forever unless you use it hard and have to redo the edge entirely

Got my Kershaw Blur S30V yesterday - I am in love

This bad boy snaps open so fast, the assisted opening has to be equivalent of 1 horsepower.

Love the steel, blade shape is good, handle shape is great and fits comfortably.... but that trac tek "grippy" inserts in the handle are probably going to shred my pants pockets. I may have to pick up one of the carbon fiber Blurs just for this very reason.

The blade came pretty sharp, but I ran it down the ultra fine rods on my Sharpmaker about 10 times each side and now it's hair whittling sharp. (srs) I held up a single strand of hair from wife's brush and gently sliced into it - not through it - with the Blur.
