God Eater was good. I know I mention this every time, but in so disappointed in how this show turned out. It could have been a great show, but it has so little backstory and development that I just can't "like" the characters that much. Combined with that massive hiatus that basically made me forget everything that has happened, and my enjoyment of this show just isn't great.

On a positive note, cot dayum those animated underboobs are 10/10. Alisa's in top 3 of the most attractive animated characters I've seen in anime.

Ehh, it's not that I'm not willing to start them, it's that I feel too late in the game for some of these shows, i.e. basketball, which seems like it's the most well known. I feel like sports anime are shows that are better when everyone else is watching them. They're shows that I hardly ever see posts and discussion about ITT after it's already aired, while with other genres, shows are discussed frequently.

That's why I didn't want to start unless there was another season, but now that I know there will be, I'll start it.

I've been busy as phuck the last few months and watching anime hasn't been a priority, so I'm around 10-12 eps behind on S2 of Haikyuu. You can be damn sure when I catch up I'll come in here to rave about it. Hype around sport shows doesn't really die out.

And Haikyuu is easily good enough to watch even if you don't talk to anyone about it. Definitely watch.

Feel like I'm too late to be starting most of these sorts anime, though. Basketball, diamond, tennis, etc etc, have all been done and over with. Now I'm stuck with Stride, which is pretty meh, and I assume most feel the same way, considering the lack of posts about it.

Will start Haikyuu tonight as long as there's gong to be another season.

Prince of stride is an anime made for fujoshi. Why do you think most of the characters in the show are pretty boys with ****gy hair? Srs, there are homo vibes all over this chit like Owari no seraph.

Discussion on a lot of shows dies down after they finish airing, no matter how good they were

For example I can't remember the last time we had a discussion about FMAB in here, and we mostly only discuss Code Geass when someone's confused about the ending and I have to explain it to them

But then it always picks back up when someone starts / finishes watching a show for the first time or randomly mentions it ITT, like Elfen Lied the other day. They're definitely fun to watch along with everyone, but you can easily get a discussion going on a show if you want to

And on that note I'm going to rec you to watch Kuroko no Basuke at some point.... it's a legit 10/10, starts off strong and keeps getting better and better all the way up to the finale

That latest episode of God Eater was so good. The potential God Eater came with was so good, but they had to f*ck it up. I don't see how they are going to wrap up everything in one remaining episode. There should be at least a few more episodes to have a somewhat pleasing ending.

Finished Kyoukai no Kanata. Ending was a little forced for the sake of happy ending I think, but I'm glad it ended this way. Fkin lol @ having a glasses fetish. Sure, there are some girls that are hnnng with glasses, but to have a fetish for it? I feel like it could have been better done with 24 episodes than 12, it really feels rushed. Either way, it was pretty good solid 8 imo.

Here's how I see it, you watch a relatively short anime (12 eps) and rate it 9. A month later, OVAs are released and it's mostly fan service and doesn't do the anime justice. You're opinion of the anime won't change, you'll just say the OVAs are ****.

For naruto, while the fillers aren't OVAs, I consider them extra. So I'll rate the two separately.
