I wouldn't microload the squat. Either get the reps, reset, or move to a more advanced program. If you haven't considered a switch to Practical Programming Advance Novice, at least for the squats, with the lighter back squats or front squats on "Wed", you may want to do that.

Yeah have been thinking about it... My quads were still quite fatigued after 3 days. I'll look into the advance novice and decide as I go depending on failed reps.
Interesting point about not microloading squats.. I think I can see your point. Just to clarify is it because it's not that much different in weight, that it would be better to reset and give the body a chance to recover and adapt? This also go for deads?******Misc Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu crew******

Yeah i asked him that too peter, its scary to squat with no safety rack, he said he will dump it forward but nick man, never know, you haven't failed a rep yet so how do you know it will work, if it fails, a injury will occur. Although it gets you prepared for the powerlifting meets ! as they don't have any safety

I looked at the TM calc I did up a while back. Plugged in my numbers, and seems that last workout was pretty much the first TM session (i did 152.5kg 3x5 squats, whereas it says 140kg 5x5)... so I'm going to start from session #2 of TM starting tomorrow night. I feel that squats are already starting to compromise my other lifts and I am, for the first time since starting SS, starting to not look forward to the next session of squats just because of recovery times.
I feel like I can still keep progressing by moving on now, rather than fail, reset and take longer.
Just to commemorate the differences start to finish of SS....
