I was able to stay my regular time and work at a comfortable pace. SO! I like to take my time on leg days. I did a few warmup sets on leg extensions and leg curls and then did some more warmup sets for squats.. I was going for a 3-5 rep PR today. My last PR was 320 for 4 reps (ATG squats). Well, I loaded up that barbell, pushed it up to (PR)----->330<------(PR), got 4 reps. I decided what the hell.. Why not throw on some 2.5's. Bumped it to (bigger PR)335lbs.(Bigger PR) Completed 3 sets with that weight. First set 3 reps, second set 3 reps.. Third set 2 reps.. I fell under the rep range but I DIDN'T CARE! Maybe not to all of you.. But to me.. 335 is freakin' heavy especially going ATG! My friends were in the squat rack next to me working out together along with their dad and their dad even commented how low I was going (they were doing box squats).

I hit a Rep PR on deadlifting, I'm sure if I deadlifted before squating I would have been able to get 4 or 5 reps rather than 3. But still.. Last time I deadlifted 400lbs I only repped it for 2. So ehh.. I guess I'll count it :P.

SO! I've come to the conclusion of my 3-5 rep week.. I'm thinking about switching up the exercise orders for this upcoming month. I've never tried a pre-exhaust method before and apparently people have had some success bringing up lagging body parts using that technique. I'd like to hear everyone's feedback on that idea! Yeah, yeah.. This isn't the exercise section.. But its MY LOG .

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ATG Squats: Already talked about these above ^

    Deadlifts: Above ^

    ---

Leg Extensions: I love these freakin' things.. There's nothing better than the pump you get from leg extensions.. BUT there's nothing worse than the burn you get in the quads from 'em either! Worked with 280 for 3 sets, easy.. Bumped it up to 295lb. ALMOST maxed out the machine this week but I wanted all 5 reps rather than 3 or 4. 295 for 5 then drop set to 160lbs for 10.. BURNED.. But pressed on with another drop set with 130Lbs for 12.. At that point my quads were shot.

Guess what.. I love leg extensions so much that I did SINGLE leg Leg extensions .. Overkill? Hell no!

Dropped the weight down to 100lbs, worked out 5 reps for each leg for 2 sets and then bumped the weight up to 110lbs, Right leg I got 5reps, on the drop to 75 I got 7 then the drop to 50 I got 5. Left leg I got 5, then 9 then 8. There's something about unilateral movements.. It feels like my muscles are working so much more when worked individually. They can't depend on each other to move the weight, I'm a fan!

    ---

Well.. I don't really have too much more to talk about! I think I pretty much covered it!

1 thing though.. Since running out of iSatori Bio-Gro (which seriously cut the recovery time in half and alleviated DOMS) I'm kind of uneasy on how I'm going to feel tomorrow and Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be able to move!

    --

    Here's the workout!

If you guys like the song sail by AWOLNATION, and a little Dubstep (I'm not the biggest fan but some of it is good) you'll love this song!

I enjoy reading your posts. You give so much detail. I feel like I'm in the gym with you. Way to step it up and hit those PRs! I find myself questioning whether or not to go up in weight sometimes. Then I think, what do I have to lose? Most times I end up surprising myself... Great job! You went from thinking you'd be crunched for time to having an AWESOME workout.

You mentioned you were out of Bio-Gro. Do you plan to purchase more? ... Hopefully it's still in your system and you won't experience DOMS too bad in the coming days.

    CARDIO:

    THOUGHTS:

First upper body hypertrophy workout in quite a long time. Had a hard time finding suitable weights and my muscular endurance is kind of crappy right now but that will change in a couple weeks. All in all great workout and not sore at all today from it. Well, except for my hands. Not used to doing dumbbell work. Perhaps it's the Bio-Gro having an effect as I've seen others comment on lack of DOMs after a tough workout. Either way, I like it!
    No cardio? Aren't you lucky!!

I have been taking 2 scoops post workout and then 2 scoops with my bedtime shake. I typically mix with 1% milk and some vanilla whey. Sometimes I'll throw in yogurt before bed if I'm not drinking a shake. Either way it tastes perfectly fine and doesn't affect the consistency.

You should try mixing it with your BCAAs sometime. The Director of Science and Education at iSatori says to get the true benefits of BG to mix it with Restoraid (iSatori plug) or some other form BCAA supplement. I still haven't tried it with milk yet but may have to in the future.

Now that's creative. I'm sure you couldn't even tell it was in there... I like thick BBQ sauce so I'll keep this in mind the next time I have BBQ.

I know you're only on Day 5 but have you noticed any significant benefits?

ive had it in milk too and that works nicely...
I assume feeling and looking thick is a good thing. ... Yeah, the mouth method is quick and easy but not very tasty.

Sorry if I missed it but what are your training goals while taking Bio-Gro?

That's awesome! You'll have to share before/after pictures and size measurements if you have them. Just curious, how much cardio are you doing? I've become very interested in knowing how much cardio others are doing since I'm doing 2 hours a day to lean down for a show. I didn't know one person could crank out so much cardio. It's the worse! It begins.

I'll post today's awesome workout when I get a chance to type it up.

So far today I have had 4 scoops of Bio-Gro.
I am going to be eating this in pretty much every meal throughout the day.
In order to consume 6-8 scoops/day I'll need to be a little creative.

Ham Sandwich with Bio-Gro, Spinach, Ranch
(I put ranch on top of the Bio-Gro to make sure it didn't just fall out)

    Here's today's workout.
Pre-Workout was 6 tabs Morph & Amino Phase
I kept the tempo nice & slow during reps - but the workout intensity was kept high!!!

    Deadlift
    135x10
    225x10
    315x6
    425x2 PR!
    405x2
    315x6

    Machine Row
    (Felt REALLY strong)
    110x8
    150x6
    190x5
    210x4
    245x5 PR!(machine maxed out)

    Reverse Pec Dec Delts
(Nice & slow concentrating on mind-to-muscle)
    85x10
    115x8
    130x6
    100x8
    100x6

    Lat Pulldown *Wide Grip*
    (Again, nice & slowww)
    100x10
    x100x10
    140x8

Lat Pulldown *Reversed & Closer Grip*
    Triset/Dropset
    120x10
    100x10
    85x8
    160x3

    Tri Pushdown *V-Bar Grip*
    (Very slow & eccentric)
    85x8
    100x4

Tri Pushdown *Straight Bar Wide Grip*
    (Dropset)
    100x1
    85x4
    70x4
    60x5

    Tri-Pulldown
    60x5
    70x5
    50x7

    Tri Skull Crushers *EZ-Bar*
    40x10
    50x6 (fail)
    60x3 (fail)
    60X3 (fail)

Felt STRONG. Probably the best mind-to-muscle connection workout I have ever had when working out my back.
After lifting I drank down some BCAAs
Incline Treadmill for 45 minutes keeping consistently @ ~140bpm

Felt great!!! I plan on KILLING chest/bi/traps tomorrow

    Cardio

16 minutes on bike - 1minute fast pace then 1 minute medium pace - 4.24 miles
16 minutes running - 1 minute fast pace then 1 minute medum pace - halfway through that "medium pace" turned into walking for a minute - 1.55 miles
    total miles completed - 5.79

Back work because couldnt do much of it yesterday

    T-bar row

    Thoughts on workout
The 60lb DB press was a PR because Im just getting back into heavy shoulders because of my left shoulder and I dont remember my PRs for shoulders . Overall good workout. Was a longer one but it didnt matter to me.

    MORPH and BIO-GRO
Morph brought the focus today... tunnel vision. Just opened another tub of bio-gro today, will see how I feel tomorrow. 2 scooped it in my intra and it mixed perfectly. This tub mixes awesome, idk why my past one wasnt. Will have 2 more scoops later in afternoon. May straight scoop in my mouth or throw it in yogurt.

    Final Review of Bio-Gro

    Sort of ! !

I say “sort of” because I plan on continuing the use of Bio-Gro for at least 3 months. I think after 3 months… the results will be very apparent.

    MIXABILITY
Downside is that it will not mix in water. I also do not recommend popping it in your mouth. If it touches your teeth… you’ll be digging it out of your teeth for a while. My favorite way to use it was mixing it in my Greek yogurt. It also mixes well in oatmeal and protein shakes if made with almond milk.

    FLAVOR
It’s almost tasteless…. It doesn’t alter the taste of anything you put it in or on. That’s an awesome thing too ! !

    PRICE
The price is very fair. For those who drink lots of protein shakes and eat lots of protein… you’re wasting your money if you don’t incorporate this product in your daily routine. Knowing that the body is only going to process about 10 grams of protein per hour, it is essential that you use a protein synthesize accelerator so you can ingest more protein. More protein = more muscle fuel.

    EFFECTIVENESS
Granted it’s only been 4 weeks and I’m a realist so I didn’t expect to see an incredible before and after photo set. What I have noticed is that I appear to be getting leaner…much leaner but without losing size. That’s a combination that I’ve never been able to achieve before: Growing and getting leaner at the same time. As for DOMS, I think Bio-Gro definitely had a positive effect in recovery. I started a new routine and lifted heavier than my previous routine and had very little soreness the next day.

    SUM IT UP ! ! !
If you are serious about your training, this product is a MUST. You are wasting money if you don’t use it. It will speed up your goals. I am certain that by this time next year we will see MANY other supplement companies coming out with their brand of protein synthesize amplifiers but it wont be the same. My plan is to use it for 3 months cycles with one week off in between. It is not necessary to cycle off of Bio-Gro but it’s just one of those things I do. I do 12 week programs and then stay out of the gym and off all supplements for 1 week. It’s working for me.

    STACK
My recommended stack is PWR + Morph with Bio-Gro for pre-workout. During and after training Restorade for your aminos and 2 or 3 Eat Smart shakes per day.

Will I be purchasing Bio-Gro? Absolutely 100% YES.

    Solid workout brah!!

Advice - don't scoop into mouth. The taste is FINE, however, it turns into cement on your teeth. lmao
Mixing with yogurt is a MUCH better option imo.

It's not that bad to just scoop it in your mouth. That's how my last dose usually is taken. I have just gotten use to it.

im right with ya but i dont mind it. I usually do it for my last 2 scoops of the day. For me its the easiest but i definitely agree it gets stuck in your mouth

    Sort of !

Another fantastic review and the only think missing is Meow-Pow
