I am having some really weird issues with my squats: I get quite a lot of tightness in my calves and my shins when I am squatting and I am not sure what is the cause of it or how to remedy it. I am pretty sure I am not shifting my weight too much to my toes or heels. In between sets I massage my calves and shins which makes it a bit better but I am not sure why I am having this in the first place. Any ideas?

lol at all the gifs.
so a little more indepth....i had NO platform coach to help me count warmups. totally ****ed up my timing in the snatch. followed similar opening lifters in the CJ, so that went a bit better.
