Sam.
What is tihs for? they don't ask these kind of q's on police exams. Very discriminatory towards women and minorities. Can't have that.Weight Loss: Go carnivore or keto combined with 16/8 IF. It'll create easy calorie deficit. Meat is good and heals, stop being lied to.

Cant believe people are saying joe cant drive because hes in a wheelchair. There is a bloke in a wheelchair i know who drives everywhere on his own in a modified car with paddles for brake/accelerator.
Ive seen multiple other wheelchair bound people driving also
Edit. The wording is paralyzed from the waist down. Someone like this can still drive a paddled car

I'm going to break it down for you miscers. There are actually other aspects to this question that most people missed out on.
The question is: Who is most likely to have been the victim? It says nothing of the killer. The killer could have been Joe, Hank or Pete we don’t know (Okay we do know..it's Hank. But it isn't important), we are just finding out who the victim is, the rest is irrelevant.
My reasoning is this:
It couldn’t have been Joe because he hated the victim and suicide is out of the question because it says ''one of the persons named below shot and killed another person named below’'
It couldn’t have been Mac because he was seen at the grave of the victim, the victim’s family and friends didn’t know who he was, which means he was alive.
It couldn’t have been Pete, he was alive, in a stable condition after having a heart attack.
It couldn’t have been Hank, because he was seen minutes after the shooting took place.
Sam is the answer because they speak of him in the past tense. Sam was afraid of Joe. Why would they bring about his fear of a person unless he was a victim, and why use the past-tense if he was still alive?
Cliffs:
Hank was alive 5 minutes after
-Pete was alive the next day
-Mac was at the grave and not known by anyone
-Joe hated the victim and suicide is not an option
The only answer is Sam. It says in the description for Sam that he WAS deathly afraid of Joe. As in he isn’t afraid of him anymore. Why is this? Because hes DEAD.

From just reading the question its purpose is to trick people.
Most people in this thread thought the question was asking who the "killer" was based of the flow however they didn't realise it was really asking for the "victim".
Another funny thing from this thread is that people think that the killer also has to be from the pool of possible victims.
Case in point the main bulk of the argument is about the killer rather than the question at hand. You answered the question so now move on.
