really not a fan of the styling, it just looks too feminine and bland to me.
Call me crazy, but i think the 3000GT VR4 is much more aesthetic from the outside. Still, girls only care about the badge and series.

Good job OP worked since age 14 as we'll by age 17 (2 months away from 18) I saved up enough to buy my first car also without parental help. Although I didn't by a Beamer I bought a 2006 civic coupe and it's been a great car. Great on gas, engine will last forever hopefully, and sloots seem to love it as we'll. obviously not as much as a Beamer or anything but still. Good job OP lol at all the haters in the misc.

You ****ed up.
Also, go read your warranty paperwork closely.
No way on earth did the dealer offer to pay for 100% of the problems. Also, for your sake, before buying a higher class vehicle make sure you have money saved up and are actually IN the profession you are studying for.The above post is a 100% complete lie

Again, your mentality, personality and type of person you are shows completely unfiltered when you typed these goals
Another sign of jealousy from yet another "adult"
The best you can do is say "strong goal"?
I've heard better and worse insults from kids who shout random **** at me while driving
@Ace Thedics
Know how I can easily tell you are one of those types who just clicks last page/latest post and types without reading a SINGLE word that was posted in the thread?
Quick to jump to conclusions without fully knowing all the details, assuming false facts when you again did not read all the details
I am always respectful when I respond even to the rudest, foul-mouthed, jealous individuals

You are the one trash talking a 19 year old over an internet forum, not me
Self-explanatory I don't need to say anything else
I'm aware of the costs/expenses/maintenance of vehicles such as BMW, my whole family drives only BMW
Do you really think I would purchase a vehicle if I wasn't able to afford it/keep up with payments like the other average dumb asses in this country?
No disrespect but please think logically man

That is an ironic statement coming from you, especially when you are the one who entered the thread first
No one forced you to click and read everything
If you were truly an adult, you would have not have even opened the thread to post, especially if your intention is to come in and put others down for achieving goals that most other people at their age are completely incapable of doing so
At this point you are only wasting your own time by replying back

not to mention taxes every year, insurance, maintenance, etc... LoL yeah okay. There's better things to do at age 19 than working poverty jobs all day just so you can afford a fancy car.
lol at op being a butthurt know it all teen. I did the same and saved up ~25k cash at age 19-20. I almost spent all of it on a car. Not doing that was the best decision ever, I am so fcuking happy I got talked out of it. But at that time I was just a herp derp teen like OP and thats all I cared about.
Why the fcuk should I or anyone else really care though? do whatever the fcuk you want. If youre ok with the majority of your expenses going towards a depreciating luxury status symbol while living in poverty then more power to you, guess it just comes down to your values.Last edited by pwoL; 10-22-2013 at 10:29 AM.

That's a lot of money to spend on a 2008 BMW with high mileage for a car that price. I wouldn't of done it myself but you can do whatever the phuck you want.
I personally would of gotten a Volkswagen, VW is considered a much better 'brand' these days. At least in Europe any way.
For that price you could of got a Volkswagen CC. No idea if you have them in the USA though.

You seem rustled bro
you know my 'adult' logic beats the chit out of your childish perspective
since when is it achieving a goal to take on a mountain of debt, and blow 4k cash on a used bmw? sounds like a really dumb decision to me, i guess you'd have to be a naive 19 year old to think that it is something to be proud of
i know that there are plenty of people your age capable of putting 4k down on a used car and making $500 payments from here to valhalla to pay it off - but they arent complete dumbasses and realize their future self will be much happier if they save and invest that money*Old Misc Crew*

$1300/mo + in apartment and car not including gas
according to the interwebz an AT&T mobile sales associate makes $13/hour.. at 40hr/wk (although you probably work less as a student) is $520 a wk, or $2080/mo BEFORE taxes.
so take home is $1700 ish.. so that leaves you with $400/mo to pay for school, gas, food, cell phone and any other expenses
while parents "drive only BMWs"
