Decided to weigh this morning and to my surprise I was only up 2.5 pounds after this weekend. Must of been the 2 hours of cardio I did throughout the weekend to compensateMy lower back is sore as hell which made the squats and deads rough. I need to dedicate a solid 30 minutes of foam rolling and stretching this afternoon. The pullups were money, I am starting to see some progress in my upper back FINALLY. I did my upright rows with the straight bar cable and loved it. I didn't feel any tension on my joints / forearms.
The jobs are really starting to stress me out.. I need some input from you guys, do I continue at the place where I am not the happiest camper, yet make good money. OR do I chance going to work full time at the gym, which I love, in hopes that I build my business up to cover all costs. I can also pick up a few nights a week at a local restaurant. Working ALL day is taking its toll on me in more ways then one.

I wait tables a couple shifts over the weekends and train people during the week.
I have much more free time to spend with my kids, my lady, or myself. I've never been happier.
It was a tough choice to put the work in to build clientele since I don't work out of a gym, but now, I'm finding that people are just referring people to me and I haven't even been looking for clients, they've been coming to me. People say I motivate them and they tell their friends, family, neighbors, coworkers...etc.
Have some faith in yourself. That's all it took. That, and a lot of work ; ) As always."The code of Bushido is harsh and relentless."

Having more free time would be awesome, but right now I just want to do something that makes me happy. I love people and moving around, and right now I am resorted to a desk with a fata$$ hillbilly that drives me batsh!t crazy.
I also am the only one in the house now so I have to make sure i will be stable on my feet if i change paths. My clients are slowly building up nicely, and im maxing out all the free time i have to train them all. Faith and confidence is something i lack in myself and i believe that is why i am in the predicament i am in right now. I have always been a hardworker and have worked for everything i have.

Hit OHP yesterday before starting all the 4th of July festivities. Felt solid throughout the workout and the OHP are starting to get a little more tough and I love it! Hitting deadlifts tonight, cant f*cking wait!
Good news - I got a message on ******** last night from my old MMA coach who is in the process of opening up his own gym (august 1st). He is looking for 5 trainers to train under him and wants me to come when it opens. I pay $400 a month, its right downtown, 24 hour access, I pick my clients and prices, after 3 months if I am keeping my head above the water he will take me to get another certification, pay for all my renewals etc. Pretty stoked for the opportunity since my current situation is driving me insane.

The question isn't whether to bulk or cut. The question is, "What are your goals?"
Then, once goals are determined, the path is easy to lay out. After that, it's just do the work and follow the plan."The code of Bushido is harsh and relentless."

Despite the late night, I still decided to hit the weights bright and early thanks to this 14 hour day. Squats and upright rows were cake today, as for the deadlifts... My low back has been / is tight as sh*t. Video of the 315 DL, form check? I know my arms are back a little bit.

Couple things!
1) Take the slack out of the bar before you pull it off the floor. No bend in the elbows! Tight bar, shoulders back(Only noticed it on the first rep, rest looked good)
2) Deadlift to the knees should be, deadlift the weight to just below your knee, hold for 1 full second, finish the lift!
Either way, strong liftsLooking good brotha. Them arms are lookin Juicy!
