Doesn't matter. I'm not even a big Conor fan, but he still decided to take the fight at 170 lbs when he didn't have to. He could've said he'll only fight at 155 playing it safe like 99% of the UFC. Again, I'm glad Nate won... but I can't take shots at Conor for being man enough to take a risk when the vast majority of all his peers are too scared. Would Aldo take a fight at 170? RDA??

I'm a fan too, but were you watching the same fight? He hit Nate with some great shots and they didn't phase Nate to the point of being wobbled at all. He also got tagged multiple times by Nate- so much for all that evasive movement training... He wasn't able to take Nate's shots and Diaz isn't a power puncher by any stretch of the imagination. Not saying he didn't fight stupidly (leaving his chin out there), but you can never say he shouldn't lose to Diaz after he got handled like that.

Conor needs to stick to fighting smaller opponents.

Diaz was borderline ready to be bounced from the UFC before his last fight, loses to every top fighter he gets put up against. In retrospect I definitely shouldn't say he "shouldn't have lost", but fighting like a complete mook, hands down the entire time, trying to head duck every single punch - it was just embarrassing. I'm much less of a fan now, not because he lost, but because he lost like an *******.
