Lol, the food was pretty good but to be honest.. I think if I did a blind taste test where they took 3-4 steaks from 3-4 random restaurants with only 1 being super expensive.. I wouldn't be able to notice the difference in quality. I would consider it to be like comparing generic brand chocolate chip cookies to Chips Ahoy.

Was gonna try the squat your bodyweight AMRAP going for 30 reps.. but waking up at 3 PM on Sunday has thrown my whole sleep schedule off so I decided against it. (on JPFaherty's page)

Decided to see where my current food intake is so:

Sunday 45F - 238C - 181P (noticed I was at 130g protein right before bed so I forced myself to have 2 scoops of whey)
    Today 33F - 256C - 191P

-I noticed I haven't had any veggies these last two days but I did have fruit

-I realized if I didn't track, I woulda underate protein on both days

    -I realized if I don't worry/think too much about food.. I undereat

I guess this is good information to know

    Update

On Thursday I had a Leg Workout with my coach.. we did a ton of BB Squat reps of 2.. worked up to 315 x 2 for 2 sets

After the leg workout, we chatted for a while.. I took a scoop of preworkout.. bought some Green Apple Gatorade since I was running on empty, & got in a chest workout with the person who got me into lifting

Managed to DB Bench 100's for 8, which is a PR for me since I rarely use DB's.. I wanted 10 reps but I wasn't going to push it considering I did legs right before that

The rest of the workout went to chit tho lmaoo

Yesterday morning, hit a shoulder workout.. nothing spectacular.. front delt felt destroyed from benching the day before

Weight is toggling between 173-175.. which is pretty much the same weight I was last June before starting my prep with 3DMJ

Some solid weight being pushed! What are your thoughts now? You were a little skeptical about it all before... feeling better?

No pressure You will figure everything out. Just enjoy life (and lifting) for awhile! Congrats on the DB bench PR. Did you throw your DBs on the floor really hard and loud when you were done???

that bench of 175x25 was pretty beastly. Nice job, definitely a tough challenge.

Prep is a piece of cake. Why? I got kids, four of 'em, nothing harder than that.

Lol, nah, I'm really gentle with the weights.. I hate it when people bang machines or throw weights lol.. very unnecessary

Thanks Rypt. I'm excited to see your progress.. your show is coming up soon.

    Update

Lifting so leisurely.. lifting as a social thing with friends & taking ~2 weeks to hit every body part once

Not sure where strength is at

Diet seems to have become a typical American diet.. too much fat/carbs & not enough protein.. & sometimes under-eating too

Weight is sitting at 172-174.. pretty much the same as 1 year ago when I started my contest prep with 3DMJ but I look better now IMO

    The Plan

Start doing some form of cardio, any cardio

    Know current food intake

    Stick to a lifting/workout program

Gonna give myself 2-3 weeks to get my stuff together & get some consistent data that my coach can work with

Lastly, I realize that I keep telling myself that I'll start prep tomorrow or the next day, because in my mind I think, I'm not ready to fully commit..

but I think if I start prep now & just hit a few bumps along the way, it's fine because it's a marathon & not a sprint..

even last year I thought to myself.. I'm gonna do this 26+ week contest prep all in one swing but I realized that I did have some minor road bumps along the way.. it's all about overcoming those

Local radio station was giving them out.. casinos give out a lot of free stuff too.

Mmm.. to be honest.. I feel it's been good.. this is the best I've looked at this bodyweight.

I do wanna knuckle down & prep again.

You did a really great job of balancing your personal life with Jaclyn & doing contest prep.. I admire you for that... I gotta take a page out of your book & learn from you. It is something I really struggled with last year during prep.

Dude, I honestly thought it was gonna be lame but it blew my expectations out of the water.

The LIGHTS, the show, the production, how everything transitioned, the VOCALS, EVERYTHING was purely amazing. I gotta say I was SUPER impressed by how good some of them sang.

I felt like I was having an ear-gasm constantly.. that & double 'organisms' ^_^

I think Brad G Phillysteak woulda fckin loved the chit out of it

Yup, slowly increasing cardio & I'll know the definite plan in about 2 weeks

    Complimentary Lady Gaga concert tickets

    Sold out packed arena!
Gotta say it is probably the most phenomenal concert I have ever been to
The music, lights, costumes, her acapella voice.. Insanely good. True performer/entertainer.. One of a kind artist

If Britney Spears & Cirque Du Soleil had a baby... Yup

    Crowd was going apesh*t

Some (not all) videos will be up shortly.
