A lot of people dont realize they are fighting the algo. I was using a christian dating app that was acquired by tinders matchgroup. Same swipe concept. I decided to pay for premium because it was like $5 a month at the time. What I found out was that I kept being shown the same profiles over and over that I wasn't interested in. They ended up releasing a new feature called diamonds or some chit that had people it thought you would be interested in that you could send gems to that let you know you really liked them. These women could not be found by swiping. Finally I deployed a nuclear strategy by blocking every single women that I was not interested in. Suddenly I started to see profiles that never existed before. Unfortunately I think in doing so it pulled me out of the algorithm and placed me in the back of the line as I went from getting like 10 likes a week to zero.

These apps are designed to be a free buffet for Chad that Timothy pays for. Their entire goal is to extract as much money from lonely men as possible. If you arent a Chad your only options are to not play, constantly reset your profile, or get extremely lucky and find a woman who just created her profile that hour. I have been on dating apps for 10 years and got my first date a few months ago. Im not even a bad looking dude and have lots of friends, hobbies, and a good personality and im very financially stable too.

With all that being said, its womens fault for having terrible results with dating apps. A Timmothy in a dessert is going to be appreciative of a single droplet of water, while a Chad in a pool doesnt care.
