There is a much bigger demand for the CLAs right now vs the higher MSRP C-Class, so the Cs are marked way down to move them. My friend just bought one. He wanted the CLA too but in his area there was a 6mos wait for one. He ended paying pretty much CLA price for a well-equipped C250.

are you looking for a sedan or coupe? luxury or performance?
for just straight performance sedan and if you don't care about badging, i'd go with a 2015 wrx sti...it might be somewhat childish but it's an amazing car and motor trend said it's basically like a 911 in many ways at 1/3rd of the price
if you're looking for a coupe, i'd go with the 2015 BMW 228i
looks good, handling and balance is supposedly excellent, rear-wheel drive, and 240hp, 258lb/ft torque
starting price is just $32k so you can get a nicely optioned one for well below $40k
edit: just configured one with M-sport line, estoril blue exterior, red leather interior, premium package, and lighting package
estimated lease is $426/mo, 36 months, 15k miles/year, and $5k down
you can also add things like M-sport brakes, technology package, etc. and that brings the price up but even with those two options, it's still around $460/moLast edited by psai; 04-27-2014 at 05:05 PM.

I like coupes but I guess it don't matter at the end of the day
I prefer performance & luxury but with my 450 a month cap I won't get that so for now luxury
I use to drive GTO so I love speed but WRX is not my thing,I'll check out that beemer now
Thanks,If it was possible for me to lease an AMG I would be on that!"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do"

My cousins leased a 2014 428i at 5k down $450 a month OP
moral of the story, get a 428i instead of a cla250"Difficult takes time. Impossible takes a little longer."

Also since it seems like a lot of you are against this car can you guys explain why?
For the 100x time the price in the OP is what I offered and I'm NOT paying that,he's gonna have to give me a sick deal for me to go forward with this lease"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do"

i'm not a huge fan of the CLA in general (except the AMG version), and here's why:
- very polarizing design that looks really awkward at many angles
- FWD, and even the 4MATIC is FWD biased...not that FWD is necessarily bad it's just that you'd expect a "sporty" car from a luxury manufacturer to do better
- it's just a mediocre car overall, and you can get better deals for the same price"Psai is the love child of Rick Ross, Ghandi and Oz" - Phoenix9369

What this guy said.
It is indeed true that modding cars is a moneypit that will not increase resale value, turboing a FRS would give you a car with an awesome level not found in anything under 45k.
It would be much cheaper for the op to turbo his FRS than buy a CLA, and he would end up with a better car imo.
If the above poster is correct in stating you could get a 235I for the same money, that would be a way better car.
RWD, A real ****ing engine, will be a fun car with a 6mt.Sig line can't be a novel

OP can't get a M235i for the same price, but he can get a nicely specced 228i (tech package, premium package, lighting package, M-sport line, M-sport brakes, estoril blue exterior, red leather interior) for around the same price
240hp, 258lb-ft turbo
RWD
6MT (free option)

Better option than the CLA for sure.
At this point in my life I dont care about badge, so Id go for a STI, but I would be more inlcined to buy an sti rather than lease; unlike a beamer, it wont depreciate like crazy, and it wont cost you an arm and a leg once its off warranty.Sig line can't be a novel

So, you trade in your FR-S and they give you 12.7+3=15.7 for it? You are getting ripped off on that trade in if that's the case. I dunno if the car has been in any accidents or you beat the hell out of it but I'd imagine you could get 18-20k for it so you're losing another 2-4k on that end of the deal.
And the CLA is slow so I guess you're just buying it for looks and status? I'd much rather dump a turbo in the FR-S even if you never recoup the money. It'll be a blast to drive. But once you factor in costs it's probably still cheaper than what you'd pay for the CLA lease.

Umm did I not state 100x that I want a luxury car? That I DO NOT like BMWs,Audi, etc?and that I actually like the CLA design?
As for a fast car that's luxury and when I mean fast I mean 0-60 4.6 or less I can't afford right now unless I can get payment not a cent more then $600...Rather have payments at 400ish either way I can still bank 2k a month even of I had 600 month payments
What car do you drive btw poopman lmao"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do"
