01-21-2014, 09:36 PM #67- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

It never will e because man kind can't cooperate lol Not saying it's possible, because it isn't, but just kind a small perspective of mine about the matter. Besides, opposites attract, somewhat.
They are okay, but not as good as wHeat thins. I used to smash a box of them before going to bed after I got done snowboarding.
I was just offering alternatives. I would hate not having human interaction.
Their was this one guy who lifted at my gym for a while and he lifted in boxers, a cut off sweatshirt, and an altitude mask. He was a very large man, like Lee, but super down to earth and preached the gospel despite the fact that did drugs and had the mouth of a sailor. Super nice guy, though.
Curious as well since I forget.
I just remember him saying that he kept increasing his fat intake, intentionally if I remember correctly and out of preference, and decided to give it a shot. Even I am going to look into it, but I don't know if it would be sustainable because I have a love for oats and dairy lolMy Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169516313

Some of you guys were talking about easy to make low-cal sauces eg. sweet and sour and alfredo. Mind posting up some recipes?

This^, combined with the fact that I tried before and felt like death, but had always thought it would be beneficial to become fat adapted. Additionally, my family has a history of diabetes. My father has even gotten into the pre-diabetic and diabetic readings despite being at a good weight 170-185 at 5'11'' for my whole life and being active, basketball 2-3x/week and lifting 3x/week since I can remember. His diet hasn't always been amazing, but with that activity and a healthy body weight, most would be fine. I am of the belief, after experimenting with VERY high carbs and everything in between, that I have some of the same issues and so becoming fat adapted will allow me to keep a lower carb approach without sacrificing too much in the way of energy. I doubt I'll stay keto long-term, but things change so who knows. I'm a firm believer in self-experimentation and this is just another data set to add to my list. I was actually running very well with moderate fats, high protein, and moderate carbs and I think that is the most even/well-balanced long term approach for my body and my lifestyle. Yet, I can also see myself going back to a very high carb bulk in the future, because as we've discussed, it has advantages especially paired with other things, but I don't think it is wise for me to stick on that diet for the long-term due to my family history.

^^^ Makes sense, especially as one who embraces n=1 experiments.
Are you monitoring blood glucose and ketone levels as well as periodic A1C readings, as that would give a good objective measure of metabolic impact?

Spend more time developing upper body, less time taking pictures of it, thats a good set or two you could have blasted out during that ^^

I do SMBG and ketone testing at times to gauge myself, but I haven't done A1C readings since my dad's readings were originally bad. He wanted me to get tested to try to predict any possible issues. I was within the normal range, but on the top end - like 5.5 or so, can't exactly remember.

I almost cared...but than I remembered your physique...
In all srs though, you're right. I've been trying to push Upper a lot lately (especially chest like we discussed last time), lots of work on form and activation. Feel like it's getting better, my pumps have been much fuller, so hopefully I can shape it up.USMC (2009-2013)

Golden rule of pic whoring, don't let them forget you, but give them enough time to A) see real progress in between your pictures B) not gloss over your pictures because it's the same thing every day. It's like keeping intrigue while keeping yourself out there. Just my opinion, though. Eventually once you get enough exposure/followers, you'll have to post more pics. High demand, high supply and all that economic stuff
