This sounds perfectly reasonable. No risk of damage to unborn baby, prisoner is subdued regardless of how she's acting, everyone's happy. The cop here had no justification for what he did.

A pregnant woman is hardly the most reasonable person at the best of times, if she gets in a hysterical panic about her kid's safety then she's not going to calm down until someone stops manhandling her, you can either punch her in the head and throw her on the floor or you can acknowledge that and deal with it professionally.
