holy chit im smiling like a retard in class right now. cant wait until i get my own place so i can get one. was thinking of either a husky of german shepherd, definitely learning towards the latter now

My German Shepherd is neutered and so are my buddy's pitts and his doberman was too. They're all fukin alpha/aggressive dogs... can only imagine what it'd be like if they weren't.

I didn't want to... but vet's convincing and parents were taking care of him while at school so they kind of had a strong say in it.

Lol the great part is, he will sit on your lap while you're driving, and he will only honk it when he sees people.

Yeah I'm working on that right now.. he's not pulling too bad anymore. I just give him a treat anytime he's walking in the heel position, and I think he's grasping it lol. If he pulls, I just stop walking and wait for him to stop.

Now if I could just curb the nipping lol. He enjoys finger-tips.

Awesome dog, OP! Got a black German Shepherd. Liked to munch finger-tips too and fuk they're teeth are sharp as puppies! He'll swim/chase ball all day until he can't move.

Keep on with training, lots of walks, let him meet lot of other friendly dogs. Always be firm and never let him get away with anything if he's been trained for it. He's gotta know you're the boss. Like if you tell him to sit... don't let him get away with not doing it. Don't over-train him though. Like tell him to sit once... not like 20 times a day, obviously.

My dog loves to chase deer and actually retrieved a couple ducks I shot once. I took him once just to see how he'd do... was mirin hard when he stayed quiet and then got the ducks.

really? most of the local breeders in my area have bred them entirely too big cause bag hip dysplasia.

Also the parents of my last dog I pictured were both direct champion European decedents. The mom was 60lbs and the father is around 70lbs.

From what I've read 60-80lbs is pretty much breed standard.

My last one didn't nip much, but anytime he did anything wrong I would use a very firm command voice. If he continued his in Ahole mode I generally gave a small tap on the snout followed by my angry voice lol.
