I'm sorry bro but have you driven a gtr? I haven't driven a 35 and I doubt neither have you. I'm not even a gtr fan boy.
Get off op's nuts. He bought a car he wanted. HE wanted. Not you. Not yours.
I'm a manual elitist too but this chit just grinds my gears pun intended
When you can afford a car of op's value then you come and bitch over here m8.
And by m8 I mean never my m8 fucking **** it

Lol, how mad are you right now. Read the thread, I didnt say anything against the OP, I didn't even comment on the OP at all, I was joking around with Ace Thedics. Anyways congrats to OP if thats what he wants, and I have always said they are amazing cars just not my cup of tea.
The comment you quoted was in response to the red guy that was getting his jimjams rustled. I suggest you calm down and stop taking everything so seriously.
And I'm not a manual elitist, the only thing that pisses me off about DCT is that its taking over and manuals are no longer being offered. Thats about it.
When you grow some gonads you can tell me what I can or can't do m8, and by m8 I mean m([3*Sqrt(2)]^2)
Lol @ grinding gears, you're probably used to that sound. lulz

I was thinking of wrapping it, but the satin white is absolutely beautiful in the sun. Maybe after winter I will, who knows haha.
Here's a few:
Not at all. The DCT in this car and my M3 is great. You simply cannot out-drive a SMG/DCT transmission, and they are great for daily commuting when you don't wan't to bother shifting. Don't get me wrong, banging gears in a standard H-Pattern transmission is fun as hell, but a DCT is quite enjoyable too =D
I was looking at a stingray, but the local dealers were being pricks and not allowing me to test drive, and were marking them up 10-20k. The one I was looking at was a fully loaded LT3 w/ the performance package (Z51 i believe?) and they were asking 99k for it LOL. That's new GTR money, and the GTR out performs the C7 in every way possible, EXCEPT exterior styling and design. I think the GTR is an amazing looking car, but the stingray is ****ing sex on wheels.
brb running 10.8's bone stock in this "automatic"
Keep hating.
Thanks man! How's the stingray treating ya?
No need on this car. The brakes are Brembo monoblock 6-piston 390mm front and 4-piston 380mm rear brakes. The suspension is damn near perfect from the factory as well. Most people just install swift springs for a very slight .5-1" drop while still maintaining perfect factory balance of the electronic dampening suspension.
Hahaha, she'll be on E85 here soon! Can't wait for an extra 200hp/250tq

I would have told that dealership to KICK ROCKS asking $100K for a fuking new C7 Stingray lol. Glad you walked. You can easily get them at dealer price. You should have went to corvetteforums and went through there. No mark ups at all and you can get what you want. I would wait till they come out with the C7 Z06/7. That's going to be a bad ass car and prob run laps around the GT-R. Plus it'll be a 7 speed manual. Anyways I still like my poverty C6 Z06. Even though its about to look outdated lol .
Nice color for the GT-R though. Not really a fan of them, but that doesn't mean they still break my neck when I see one on the road.

Got some of the parts on her today! Installed the AAM race mid pipe, SBD 90mm street exhaust, Cobb stage 2 tune @ 17psi and LC5. She pulls quite a bit harder. Cobb says with a straight mid pipe and exhaust + their stage 2 flash at 17psi bumps a 2012 up 75-90hp and 80-100tq over the stock 530hp. Def feels alot faster!

Jelly of the car man! All the haters saying "herp derp not a manual not a sports car" probably can't afford it and never will be able too! Ill probably never be able to either, but I'm also not the one hating. I'll be happy if I ever get a used m3 lol.
