    fail
IMO Campoli moved more than Malone aimed for the head. Campoli lost the puck a bit there and stretched out for it rather than skate for it and take a hit. I guess he thought MacArthur actually aimed for the head.

Agreed, I also think Philly will be higher then 6th place. Haven't really kept up with the Bruins off season moves, I've heard their roster suffered a bit this off season, true?

Montreal's defence is questionable and they need Cammalleri and Gomez to improve to keep up with the other teams in the division, Habs are by no means a lock for the playoffs IMO. I believe it will be a battle between Leafs/Habs/Carolina for the 8th spot.

Agreed. Leafs are dependent on Reimer. If he blows, they don't make the playoffs.

They lost Ryder, Recchi, Kaberle and added Corvo. Ryder will likely be replaced by Pouliot with a chance of a prospect. Corvo will be better for us than Kaberle I'm sure. Seguin has looked like a man possessed this pre-season. I don't think they will end up taking that big of a hit with Seguin's progress and another Lucic-Krejci-Horton year together.

TOR acquires Steckel from NJD for 4th rder. Leafs see Steckel as 4th line C, like his faceoff prowess. Might push Dupuis out but not yet.

"It" as in "the draft lottery"? Sens have arguably the worst forward crops in the league and a blue line that can't play defense. They obviously have a good future ahead of them but right now they're pretty much a lock for a Top 5 pick.

They will be perfectly fine. Rask looked excellent during the pre-season as well which bodes well for the Bruins.

I'm really interested to see how Pouliot performs because during the pre-season he showed signs of why he was such a high draft pick before. He could make a big difference this season.

Also, Seguin has looked much better, and should have a very good season.

The Bruins are one team where I don't think you can question their motivation. With players like Chara, Bergeron, and Thomas leading the way, it is very hard to question that teams motivation. Those players want to win, and so does the rest of the team.

I don't see it Gagner, Whitney, and Smid already hurt. Looking at our defense reminds me of late last season.

And that was an awful, ugly, horrible time to be an Oilers fan.

Rask is going to want to gtfo of Boston about half way through the season I think, same with Schneider in Vancouver. Both are easily number 1's on a number of teams right now.

Exactly, same with Schneider. Could help an 8/9th placed team tremendously.

meh rask will get plenty of time to play this year. thomas is 37 and they obviously want him to be on top of his game for the playoffs. I'd guess it'll be a 50/50 split

Holy ****, the score's over view of the western conference is ****ing funny. They guaranteed 7 teams will make the play off, without a doubt and Vancouver will sweep the first team they see and go to the cup.
