I remember playing FF13 when it launched on Xbox 360. I got up to the robot junkyard and quit because the stupid robots were destroying me lol
Fast forward years later (2023), I got the game on Steam and played it in 4K60 on my RTX3070. Took about 50 hours to beat. Story wasn't the greatest but the HD mods made the game look pretty good. The FF13 battle system is probably one of my favorites of all time now. However, it took like 20 hours for me to really get a proper hold of it. There are some bosses that are pretty hard and you can't beat them just raw doggin it with regular attacks.--------------------- ϞϞ( ๑⚈ ․̫ ⚈๑). ---------------------

It's funny how quickly the sonycels "ItS nOt ExClUsIvE iF iTs AlSo oN PC" mentality has gone away now that about 95% of Sony's "exclusive" catalog is showing up on PC with publishers dropping PS5 exclusivity because they can't make a profit with it anymore.
Bet they're going to try and act like they never said that from now on lol.

Ninja Theory most likely.
They're making a single player walking simulator in hellblade 2
Hugely marketed in every single MS conference since 2019
The game is niche as fuk and hardly any hype on it
Coming out on gamepass
Small studio that probably spent a lot on making it and has everything riding on it
It's got all the ingredients that would warrant a closure by Microsoft by next year at the latest.Sig line can't be a novel

I still think this is an L take. Sony churning out PC ports faster than they make exclusives. PC will catch up.
In 2028 when the PS6 is announced, there will be what, 1 or 2 games the PS5 has that PC doesn't?
Bleak selling point for PS6 if you ask me. Can't use exclusivity as an arguing point for console anymore. Ease of use and price are the only real advantages now.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Sony got so cocky that you'd think that they hate money.
- No Bloodborne 60fps patch and practically shunning its existence despite the rising popularity of Fromsoft's games (e.g. Elden Ring)
- Prevents Helldivers 2 from being sold to countries that don't officially support PSN instead of just doing what literally every one of their competitors and other platforms have done, which is just support them.
- Do the same for Ghost of Tsushima over an optional online mode that I'm pretty sure most people didn't even care about, let alone knew existed (I don't/didn't).
The best way that they can market it at this point is the platform experience itself given the anemic rate of AAA games launching.
By the time the PS6 is going to release, Microsoft will assuredly be locked into trying to put Game Pass on every device possible to make using it as accessible and easy to use as possible. The reality is that Sony won't be able to scrounge up their own Call of Duty (or Overwatch) competitor, and the bulk of games for Playstation, Xbox, and PC are already third party titles, so offering a platform that doesn't suck is going to be their best bet.
With the insane cost of game development on top of the growing length it takes to eventually release, they can't afford to not port their games in a similar vein to Microsoft, only they're not dumb enough to scream it out load from the top of the hills like Phil Spencer.
Given the desperate state of AAA release schedules, if Sony was smart, they'd be digging into their back catalog since the PS4 for games to resell/port. As the PS3 emulator RPCS3 shows, their old games hold up damn well:
Spoiler!
Then when you take last gen ports from the perspective of the PC versions without the settings imposed by the hardware limitations, they're not even that different from current gen games (e.g. TLOU2 vs the "remaster").

So much truth to this. Funny how Sony gets praised as some sort of savior of the industry when they are always trying to pull some scummy chit just to make a quick extra buck off their customers. Game development has become too expensive and time consuming to really work for just one platform anymore, and the difference in graphics from last gen to this gen is basically the equivalent of turning up some settings on a PC version of a game. That's probably why last gen games work so well when they enhance them with even just a simple FPS boost.

You were a lot more pleasant when you weren't drinking. Definitely one of those angry and belligerent drunks always looking to lash out at someone in extreme and unnecessary ways. Like for real, imagine saying that sort of chit over video games. I would tell you to get some therapy but checking yourself into AA would do a lot more good.
Point was how ironic it is to be complaining about that sort of attitude now when it comes to this when it's an attitude that has been supported so often.
