Mah beers tonight. I just turned 26 years 8 minutes ago.

Very nice stuff. Aromas were weak but nice. everything else was damn tasty. Big bright citrus and pine with moderate honey and bread malts. Smooth sipping. Thanks Cyde, I will get ya box out soon


Apparently this was a limited release(hardly any reviews). Fricking Excellence! Awesome balance of bright citrus and pine hops with clove/pepper/bubblegum yeast esters and moderate malt balance. Fawking drinkable for 9%.


Damn nice Blonde. Smooth, crisp, and balanced. Updated my review of it too.


Drank my last bottle of hoptimum for the nightcap and its still awesome. Super hoppy as hell and smooth sipping.

Fug it isn't a malt bomb but it just doesn't stand up to the diipas I know your accustomed too its very dry. But like i said I plan on visiting my Gf a few times when she is in dc and ill prob do my own thing when she is at work so ill have time to grab some stuff.

Look for Lakewood Tempest. It's an awesome milk stout. Beware of Deep Ellum, they've had quality issues. Get tasters of all tap beers if possible. Some places take good care of tap lines and others don't. Of you make it over to Dallas, check out The Common Table and Meddlesome Moth.

Not really. NYC is balls and NJ is even worse. I'm not too close to NYC though and I would never go there if I didn't have friends that did not live there... Either way, Austin is far cooler than NYC in my professional opinion. Tickets to the USGP are a bit high too, iirc and no way to buy just Sunday tickets. Would rather do Montreal if it wasn't raining all the time there. Not too far from here, you can do Sunday solo tix AND french canananananadian girls are hot a furk. Almost went this year but the goddamn rain forecast kept us away. Fukking rain.

You're pretty close to my parents place, would meet up with you if I was in town. They opened a new Flying Saucer in St Louis right next to Busch Stadium. Love going there before games, especially on the $3 pint nights. Beats the hell out of the $8.50 Bud in the stadium. Only about a mile from my place too.

Yeah the last time I went to a Cards game I was drinking Founders, Firestone Walker, Odell, & Bell's for $3 during the 2 hr rain delay while suckers in the stadium were paying $8.50 for a bud light about 100 ft away

Definitely try Live Oak hefeweizen if you see it on tap. Great way to beat the 100 degree Texas heat. Not sure what the availability is like in Fort Worth, but there should be a few kegs up there.

$9 growler fills of Live Oak hefe at Whole Foods. It's always my summer staple. Have you ever tried the 512 Double Pecan Porter? Their Double IPA is always solid since they don't bottle it.
