I thought about posting a vid of the song "I'm all shook up", but figured I'd make sure everything was OK first.

If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.

Yeah man that earthquake was something else in my office building today. You're planning on heading down to the WSM event right? I'd definitely like to check that out, relatively short drive from Charlotte obviously

I'm going to give this thread 1 star. You know why? First off, I have to travel to see it, and second because this "conditioning" crap makes me want to vomit. My cals are already low, dont make me waste them.

Oh just sub to it and quit yer whining!!! As I recall, the last bit of journal entries you did had me thinking I was on a CrossFit Forum
No damage at all. Where I am (NE corner) it lasted for about 10 seconds and by the time it was over I realized what it was.
My buddy texted me that the dates had changed to Sept 21st & 22nd...if that's the case then I'm probably out

Glad everything is OK for you tarheel and bmont. They actually had some damage here in Ky about an hour from here. I was outside working and didn't even know it had happened.
NC....are you far enough inland that you don't have to do any special preparation for the hurricane???My current log

Changing the dates of WSM this close is pretty fuked up. Way to take a niche sport and hurt it a little more.

I'm only about 40 miles from the Outer Banks so I do try and get the cars filled up (UGH
) and get some charcoal (a man's gotta eat even if there is no power
). I don't do anything crazy like board up windows, etc...
I think growing up in a hurricane region you really become a little desensitized to them. My daughter's birthday is Saturday so she's pretty bummed that the trip to Water Country is probably out (although playing outside in a hurricane would probably be JUST as fun)
Ohh yeah!!!

agreed. it's bad enough that people have to call hotels and try to cancel/reschedule reservations. but to go from a weekend to mid-week was pretty crappy.
Debating eating up my last couple of vacation days to still go. Means I'll have 2 days left after oct 1st. Gonna be cutting it close.
Best of luck with the hurricane. Hopefully you won't get too much rain and the daughter can still have a good birthday.
