Checking in on this thread again, it's great to see so much progress. You guys have no idea how much it's helped me get through some tough days when I just didn't feel like doing anything. So, I guess I'll finally post a pic lol - not exactly a "Fat to Fit" but a "Fat to significantly less Fat". I've lost about 50 pounds since October, and this thread has been a huge motivational help. Gone from a (tight) XL to a M, and a size 40 to 32 jean. Still a long ways to go, I'm starting a big 12 week cut, hoping to be at my "goal" weight of about 185 by August 31st! Then probably a clean bulk over Fall / Winter. Good job everyone!

270lbs 5/25/2011
My goal is to be at 230lbs with 20% body fat by the end of the year. My overall goal was just to become healthier and live a cleaner life. I'm hoping by April 18th 2012 to be at 220lbs and 15% body fat (this is my ideal weight and body fat for my height of 6' 3")Last edited by neginfluence04; 05-25-2011 at 07:09 PM.

Nice progress! Really good! What did your diet look like? Cardio how many times a week and what type of cardio? I have fat around the waist pretty much like your before picture, maybe a little less, but i still fear it's going to be my greatest and toughest challenge... to get rid of that hip fat!
Motivational as a mother****er though! Keep up the good work!

Thanks man...
My diet was mainly just home cooked meals. Tried to eat more lean protein and much less carbs. I didnt really have a set meal plan since I didnt cook the meals myself, but I just stayed completely away from junk food, fast food, and all drinks other than water.
I wasnt all that consistent with my exercising, but I jump roped about 3-4 times a week for 30 mins a day. Mostly did HIIT exercises which worked for me. But my diet was very discipline and was the key to the weight loss since I used to eat a lot of fast food and starchy carbs.

At first I used p90x didn't focus on controlling diet too much. After my first 90 days I lost a bit but still wasn't what I wanted so I wait 2 weeks and started doubles. I did p90x for a year and 1/2 and tho I got stronger I still wasn't happy with the results. After 2 years I read some stuff about High intensity cardio. I started doing that without controlling diet too much. Thought I could just eat and burn it off or build it up. Still not satisfied, I read some more and started going back to 24 hour. Hooked up with some ripped bodybuilders and asked them what they did to get like they were. One thing I've learned in life that If you want to know something ask and if someone has what you want do what they do to get it. I took fat cardio 3-4 times a week up to 4-7 depending on if I junk or not and Doran Yate's "Blood and Guts" to get where I'm at now. I have a strict diet that I don't stay from often.
Btw great transformation guys very inspiring keep raising that bar
