That thing looks silly, but I'm actually a big fan of their dip belt.

Trying to poach in my back yard?

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

02-12-2017, 07:52 PM #8433I don't believe in deloading. Instead you should find someone at the gym, ask them to be your friend, once you are friends ask them to blind fold you, make sure not to look cheeky because otherwise they might get the wrong end of the stick. Then ask them to load the bar with a number between 2.5kg - 250kg, then blast out 4x10 reps. You gotta get past that mental block, deloads are a waste of time and you don't get any kudos from your new friend at the gym. Seeking: Hip Press

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

Those are really cute looking barbell plates ATTYBOY. Good job. You also got bukkake's approval, so that is good job too.

2MoreJelqz, when York gear shows up in my gym, it stays there. I'm not planning on buying a new Chevy truck and losing interest, or taking up woodwork, like some tossers I know.
Amazing how many vultures there are these days. Not just the usual suspects in the DC area, but also ones up east. We both know who they are. Thanks to Gene's brother and EEB_27, I was able to rescue some vintage iron and have a good chat with the seller. He's got more interesting stuff for sale. And he's got a better sense of market price now too, not the ridiculous numbers the phone vultures were dropping. You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. One day I'm going to randomly show up at the Legendary headquarters. When this happens, you can bet your purple underwear I leave an authentic 2morejsquirts turd in the floor of your jelq palace.

First, you'll have to find it. Second, you'll have to bypass the security system, Ninjas, and Rottweiler & Shepherd. And then make it past the gym manager. No one gets in without a gym membership and he's heavily armed too. Only one other living being has a left a turd on that floor, the German Shepherd, and the dog and I both agree it will never happen again.

Finally got around to fixing the Powertec preacher curl annoyance! Having previously owned the GP version of this handle in urethane and the steel chin attachment, this one feels surprisingly different than the others. The grips are super THIN, my Ironmaster DB's feel like fat grips compared to these. The knurling also surprised, I was expecting the same hand destroying knurl on the chin attachment but it's relatively passive.

You could say I have a barbell addiction..
Here's my new American Barbell Stainless Bearing Bar (Competition Spec).. She's a beauty..
AB wins for best bar packing/shipping..
Nice powdercoated end cap..
Their signature recessed weld..
Mild/moderate stainless knurl..
Nice detail they recently starting doing..
Slick looking ghost knurl. Very light, mainly for a reference..
I sold a Rogue Euro bar to pick this one up since it was on sale ($125 off). I prefer the feel of stainless (AB) over chrome (Euro) which is the main reason for the switch. Both are phenomenal Oly bars, of course.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

The bar is gorgeous.
Can you provide a higher res picture of the indented size of the collar and the knurl?Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Yeah, it's real, real nice. Knurl is pretty mild, but it'll be great for my use.. Olympic lifts and front squats. Stainless feels great though..
Sure, same photos i have here, just larger? Or new ones? I can take some knurl specific ones at lunch. I don't have my DSLR though (that thing's collecting dust.. lol). I usually just roll with the iPhone pics these days.Last edited by thejosef; 02-17-2017 at 08:42 AM.
